Location is PERFECT!

My family was in Porto Covo for a wedding and our first time in Portugal. Sara's house on the Atlantic was outstanding. The location could not be better. It was walking distance to the town, the beach and the beautiful cove was right next door. There is also a walking trail right outside the garden gate. The home gave us a real authentic Portugal experience. Sara was very prompt on every inquiry. It is not luxurious, but well appointed with all you need. It is the perfect family vacation home. I hope to return some day. Five stars!

Peaceful Porto Covo

This was our last stop on our Portugal stay and it was wonderful. The property is super quaint and well maintained with back garden and front that opens to sprawling yard that overlooks the sea. Sara the host was very responsive and the place was clean and beds comfortable. My favorite was the little fireplace and glass doors that open to the yard and the view and the little gate to the beach path!

Lovely, comfortable and well stocked house. Beautiful view with some grocery stores and restaurants close by. Beaches are rugged and breathtaking. Easy access to the house and easy parking. We were there for a short and chilly April stay ; the summer would be terrific.

Perfect house directly on a wild, beautiful, unspoilt stretch of coast line!

My family and I stayed here for three nights, it was a spacious, clean and comfortable house with incredible sea views. There was a large log fire to keep us warm in the evenings but for us the most special part was being able to walk down the garden right on to the beautiful coastal path.

We loved the large garden - amazing view. Lots of chairs and tables in the garden. We made barbecues one evening and found all the necessary equipment needed. We were a family with our children on a trip. Since our children have passed 20, we will say that this house works perfect to 4 couples. Porto Covo is a really small town. We found it authentic and real portuguese. Several good place to eat out. All in walking distance from house. Several good beaches just 3 minutters from the house We never met the owner of the house. Made all clarifications on mail. Responded to all my strange questions quickly - clarifying and service minded. Thumbs up!!! Other good things about the property: Easy access, good parking for the car, good sofa in the living room, wifi ok, clean No negative comments from us. Recommend the place to everyone

Überwältigender Ausblick auf den Ozean

Wir waren Ende Oktober in der Unterkunft in Porto Covo. Leider war das Wetter in der ersten Woche sehr durchwachsen. Der Sturm führte zu unangenehmen Gerüchen im Haus, die auch nicht vollständig beseitigt werden konnten. Das Haus ist wunderbar gelegen, der Garten urig und sehr schön angelegt. Bei dem veranschlagten Mietpreis hätten wir allerdings vor allem in den Bädern eine funktionierende Einrichtung erwartet. Ebenso waren die Böden bei unserer Ankunft nicht überall sauber. Die Küche ist allerdings sehr gut mit Geschirr und Küchenutensilien ausgestattet. Eine modernere Beleuchtung im Haus könnte an Regentagen für etwas mehr Wohlbehagen sorgen. Fazit: Wunderschön gelegenes Haus, der Preis ist allerdings zu hoch für den derzeitigen Zustand des Hauses.

We really liked the house and it`s surroundings. Just below the house there is a path wich leads to the supermarket and from there just a few minutes to the pedestian street with many restaurants. We had some problem with the gasstove and in half an hour we got help from John.

Haus am Meer

Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll und historisch. Leider sind Mobiliar, Küche und Bäder sowie Haushaltsutensilien schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die neuen Fenster haben schon viel gebracht, aber jemand müsste mal kleine Reparaturen an verschiedenen Stellen ausführen und auch der Austausch von zwei kaputten Sonnenliegen wäre bei dem Preis angemessen.

Fantastischer Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Sara erleichterte zu vielen Gelegenheiten den Ablauf.So gelang alles perfekt und wir-Familie mit 6 Personen inklusive 2Kleinkinder-hatten einen herrlichen Urlaub.Der freieBlick ueber das Meer,die windgeschützte Ecke hinter dem Haus waren toll und bei Fragen war Jose immer da.Das rustikale Haus hat viel Platz, die Küche ist voll ausgerüstet, die Dorfmitte in 200 m erreicht.Danke für diesen Aufenthalt!

Dias tranquilos em família

A casa tem uma excelente localização e um espaço exterior com uma vista deslumbrante. O espaço interior é funcional . Lamentamos a falta de uma máquina de lavar roupa e o mau funcionamento da máquina de lavar louça. Sendo uma casa para famílias parece-nos essencial.
