Staff are polite and responsible. A female receptionist on duty helped my wife and myself book a taxi for our cruise trip. Accidently, I left my handbag, which contains our passports and credit cards, at the backseat of the taxi. When I found the problem ten minutes late, the taxi had long gone. We had another taxi back to the hotel. The lady comforted us and immediately called the driver. The driver confirmed the bag was still in his car. The story had a happy ending, surely due to the efforts of the lady. We are very very grateful to her!

Overall not bad but could use a little improvement. Touted that it was recently remodeled but could have used a little maintenance as two of the tiles in the shower were popping off! The doors were always being slammed from the rooms and it was noisy because of it. The doors had to be slammed so they would close. I don’t think I would stay there again.

Sadly the hotel did not clean the room - even when requested 3 times. The bins in the rooms were overflowing! We were disappointed that even when asked we would return to the room to find it wasn’t cleaned. The hotel is about 15 min walk to the mrt station. So great if you are happy with the distance. It was great to get around the city. Just a shame about the service at the hotel

Good budget option

New decor, Clean and comfortable room, great shower and good AC. 10 min walk to nearest MTR station ( Paya Lebar) which was easy to find and great for exploring Singapore. Supermarket beside hotel but limited eating options nearby. No working fridge in room but bought ice from supermarket and used sink :) can't really fault it for the price.

The hotel is a strange mix of contrasts - on arrival, the entrance is very nice and seems like a lovely 4 star hotel. However, they really let themselves down on the simple things. Like cleanliness. My bathroom had pieces of rubbish (even someone else's watch) lying on the bathroom floor. There were short black hairs on the toilet, in the shower, around the sink and on the bathroom floor. The bathmat was laid on the floor and one of the towels on the back of the door (rather than folded with the others) - it wasnt clear if had been used.

if you stay 1 night great, if you stay longer not so great. we stayed 6 nights, had room serviced once, which was not a problem I rather don't have anybody touch my bed and things anyway. problem was towels and toilet paper. After the second day we asked for more towels and were denied, told if they give us more towels we take them away from other guests!!? reluctantly given a roll of toilet paper. thought ok we just make due until housekeeping comes. 3rd day no housekeeping. back to reception to ask for towels and were downright told we were lying about no housekeeping and they demanded to see our room as evidence. fortunately a second reception person came and after arguing and telling us housekeeping only comes every other day and us telling him it is day 3 we graciously got more towels. too sad since the hotel has a great location to busses, mrt, restaurants and the peranaken neighborhood. perhaps the hotel should purchase more towels??!!! toilet paper!!! and not accuse their guests of lying!!!!!

The bed was comfortable. There was two of us and only 1 entry card to slot in room for lights and everything to work. Quite annoying when one needs to go out as also needed for lift to and from. Another guest had complications getting up to his room because of this and the younger staff didn’t understand him.
