On road parking. No smoking.. This charming cottage is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the high street. Overlooking Skipton and its famous market, iconic castle and stunning countryside. This delightful well equipped cottage is an ideal base for any holiday maker to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Surrounded by shops, tea rooms, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. There are regular street markets in Skipton, woodland walks, famous forests, golf course, castle, swimming pool and pet farms to explore.

Entering the property from the cobbled lane is a cosy living room with two sumptuous sofas, a television and a contemporary electric wood burner. This really sets the scene for a cosy night in. The cottage also benefits from a dining area perfect for enjoying those home cooked meals or a takeaway depending on your fancy. Wander upstairs where you will find a large contemporary bathroom featuring a shower cubicle, sink, toilet, heated towel rail and modern LED mirror with additional storage. Leading to the master bedroom overlooking the picturesque town of Skipton and a slightly smaller double room. Additional wardrobe storage can be found on the landing for your boots. Outside to the rear the cottage benefits from a private courtyard offering a lovely little area to enjoy time outside from your daily activities. A warm welcome will always await you at Prospect Cottage and its prime location will be sure to knock your socks off.

Well thought out accommodation

Very well maintained and equipped cottage in quiet cul-de-sac with easy access to town amenities. The owners have given a lot of thought to their visitors comfort. We really enjoyed our stay.

A spotlessly clean, well appointed cottage in a great location. Just returned from a short break in Skipton. Prospect Cottage was a perfect base. Unlike some reviewers, we were fortunate with parking, perhaps a benefit of a small car! We did however walk most of the time, leaving the car at the cottage. The town is a short walk from the cottage, with great views along the way. If you're looking for a base that gives you the benefits of a town, combined with easy access to country walks, or wish to be by the canal, this cottage is perfect.

Absolutely a beautiful cottage, very homely and tastefully decorated/furnished can't falt it at all, had everything you needed a very welcoming place to go everyone was friendly and most places are dog friendly which was good we had a great week would definitely go back 😊

Great location, easy walk down to Skipton and the canal.

Great location, easy walk down to Skipton and the canal. Property is what you expect for the price. And got a very polite email and lovely message from the owners. Parking is terrible however only flaw. And the neighbours across the road are very loud. Crashing into bins and moaning all the time about the parking which dampens the property. Nice little property
