The Twisted Mermaid is a beautiful self-contained modern studio set in a lush garden. This new magnificently appointed studio has its own private entrance, private outdoor area as well as onsite parking. Much care has been taken to ensure the studio is equipped with top end appliances and linen. It comprises of a large bathroom, bedroom and an open plan kitchen and lounge. The studio is a perfect choice for both couples and single travellers. It is a one minute stroll to the fabulous Smiths Beach. Guests can enjoy the delights of Phillip Island such as seeing the Fairy Penguins at dusk, surfing, walking, cycling the many tracks crossing the island, or visiting the many attractions South Gippsland has to offer. The Grand Prix Track is a comfortable walk from Smiths Beach.

From the first contact with Susie and Damon, we were keep well informed and made to feel very special. I The Twisted Mermaid met our requirements and is absolutely one of the best we have stayed in. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the rest of the unit tastefully furnished and comfortable. Located in a quiet court, it is only short walk to the beach. Susie and Damon’s Twisted Mermaid is an about gem, nestled in the private sanctuary of their property. Very generous and spacious parking with a gorgeous hidden garden path that leads you to your cabin. All furnishings, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom feels extremely modern and brand new. This accommodation is truly immaculate. Just wait till you experience their rain water shower head.. This stay was solo, during the MotoGP 24 weekend. Literally a 2min drive to the circuit each day. Absolute perfection. Thank you for having me! Adam.

Nice place to stay for the GP weekend. Private and quiet. Hosts were lovely - said hi upon my arrival, but otherwise didn’t encroach, which is what I like. A beautiful, lush garden separates the unit from the house adding to the privacy factor. Thank so much!

The property felt private and secluded, surrounded by greenery. You would never know it was in a backyard. The property is beautifully finished; exactly as it appears in the photos. It is one street back from a beautiful beach and coastline. It was the perfect property for a romantic getaway.

Luxury stay with incredible hosts

A brand new home on Smith's Beach with generous and thoughtful hosts who provided every possible amenity. The chocolates, hand creams and generous bedding were wonderful but their offer to put our car in their garage in stormy weather was unexpected and kind. Just a perfect week!
