Beautiful 6BR house on Snowmass mountain w easy access to ski in and out

Enjoy yourself at our mountain retreat in a beautiful Snowmass Village Colorado! Galliwest was rebuilt and doubled in size in 2010. Located just above the Elk Camp gondola mid-station, it has ski-in ski-out access. Summer guests use some of the country's best mountain biking and hiking trails! It now has 4 master bedrooms with king beds, ensuite baths, and HD flat screen TVs, plus 2 smaller bedrooms. and 5.5 baths.. It is on Woodrun I, the first and most prestigious of the on-the-mountain private housing areas in Snowmass. Snowmass is the largest and most popular family mountain in the 4-mountain Aspen complex.

An elevator in the stairwell rises from the heated 2-car garage and mudroom/ski storage area on the first floor to the 3 upper floors.The living-dining area on the 4th floor opens onto large front and back decks. A large fully equipped kitchen invites multi-cook meal preparation and communicates with a dining area that has a long table seating 12-14.

There is a large living space that is separated into a comfortable fireplace area (perfect for relaxing after long days exploring and skiing) and a TV room. High ceilings and top to bottom windows make it a spectacular living space.

On the 2nd and 3rd floors, there are 4 large front bedrooms, with king sized beds, flat screen televisions, en suite bathrooms, and sweeping valley views. Two of them open onto balconies or decks. Two have 2-person jacuzzis in the bath. Two have large walk-in showers. All of the furniture, fixtures, bedding, beds, appliances, flooring, etc. is new. Two smaller back bedrooms, one with two twin beds, one with a queen and a twin, are most often occupied by children or young adults and have beautiful serene views into the forest behind the home.

There is a large office area on the 3rd floor, with two long desks, wifi, a computer and printer/scanner/fax.

There is a fully equipped laundry area on the 2nd floor, with a laundry chute down from the 3rd flr.

A hot tub offers great views and relaxation!

The unit is ideally suited for extended multi-generation families, like our own, or for 2-3 families that enjoy vacationing together, or four-five couples.

Perfect trip!

We met our extended families out in Snowmass for our annual ski trip, and this was an absolutely perfect home. Chuck and Tina were beyond responsive, helpful and friendly during the entire process. The home was spotless, beautifully appointed, and meticulously maintained. The ski in/out was simple for everyone, and the location on the mountain was so convenient (a four-minute drive to town). What an awesome trip!

Top notch!

The perfect stay. I was in town for a family wedding. This beautiful home accommodated us all very comfortably. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We did not have time to use the hot tub! Chuck and Tina are excellent and gracious caretakers who were readily available to us and had the place in tip top condition and sparkling clean.

In a word, AMAZING!! The property, location, amenities, you could not ask for a better place to stay when visiting Aspen/SnowMass. There is not a single detail missed or forgotten. The property managers are the warmest, friendliest, most gracious hosts, and made us feel so welcome and at home!! The elevator is very helpful to get groceries from the bottom floor up to the top floor where the kitchen is located. The wood burning fireplace was great and the host leaves plenty of firewood for your stay. The hot tub was nice for relaxing after the long ski days. This place is great for a large group getaway.

We got married at maroon bells and stay at this house with our wedding party

This was the best rental we have ever been too. It was fully stocked with all essentials. Chuck was amazing. We saw deer and fox out the back deck. Rooms were beautiful and accommodating. We had food catered in for our wedding dinner. It was fabulous. It had an elevator to help both our parents get to each floor. I can’t say enough about this place. We will definitely stay again. Best place ever. Our three kids loved the hot tub. The 4 th floor is magical and makes you feel on top of the world. Definitely the best place we could of picked for our wedding. Thank you!

Awesome Ski Week

The house was wonderful and fit the needs of our family perfectly. The caretakers are on the property and accommodated our every need. The ski in, ski out did not work for our new skiers so we had to rent a car to shuttle everyone back and forth to the slopes. I would recommend a car anyway for grocery runs, etc.

Phenomenal Stay!
