Experience Lake Cumberland at Burnside Bungalow: Private Dock, Pool Access!

Location, location! Welcome to the Burnside Bungalow. Views of the lake, furnishing and property updates in Summer of 2023, reserved private dock space (no wake zone) walking distance from the house, minutes from marinas, shopping and restaurants.

Guests at the Burnside Bungalow have a reserved dock slip at the Villager Resort Private dock next to our home. Launch your boat at Burnside Marina (5 mins away) and then enjoy easy access during your stay! Unsalted Life Boat Rental can is based out of the Villager Resort, with two new Pontoons availabel for rental. Contact Dave directly at (606) 271-0224. Their rates are generally more competitive than the surrounding marinas for Villager guests, and offer the added convenience of launching just steps away from the Bungalow! Enjoy fishing from the private dock as well.

Guests also have access to Villager Resort pool, tennis court and arcade.

Enjoy the lake views from the deck of this newly renovated and modern 3-bedroom, 3 -bathroom Lake Cumberland home that sleeps 12. Conveniently located in Burnside (between Somerset and Monticello), the home is less than 5 minutes from shopping and restaurants in Somerset, 5 minutes away to the Burnside Marina, and 10 minutes to Burnside State Park and Golf Course. Conley Bottom Marina is 15 minutes. (Burnside and Conley bottom both have boat rentals and boat launches)

Great hiking trails, fishing and Cumberland State Park are nearby.

Grill out and enjoy lake views on the upper deck, lounge on the lower deck while you and your guests play lawn croquet, washers, bocce ball, corn hole, and enjoy S’mores at the fire pit tucked away on the private land immediately behind the home. Enjoy the finished lower level game and bunk room.

The upper level features a fully stocked, eat-in kitchen with a large farmhouse dining table. Walk out to the upper deck, with a propane grill and additional dining table. The main living area has a Roku TV and there is high speed internet throughout the house. On the main floor, the primary bedroom features a king bed with attached full bathroom with shower. There are two additional queen bedrooms and another full bath with tub/shower combination on the main floor.

A walkout downstairs level features reclaimed wood walls, two bunk beds (4 beds- weight limit is 220 lbs per bed) with two additional trundle beds (sleeps 6). There is an additional 2-piece bathroom, full laundry, and another lounge area with a Roku TV. The sofa in the basement also converts into a twin futon bed.

The driveway and front of the house have ample parking for cars, boats and other land and water vehicles.

Great family getaway!

The property was well equipped for a family trip with kids of different ages. It was just a hop skip and a jump from Burnside Marina and the pool was great.

Perfect Family Fishing Trip!!!

Excellent house!!! The photos do not do it justice, it is so much more!!! Very clean, new comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen! Newly remodeled to the max! Plenty of room for 12, to relax and renew! Quiet neighborhood! Private Boat slip is very convenient, within walking distance! John and the team are great hosts, providing all we needed!! Our family has used VRBO for many years, this property ranks in our top 5!!!! We’ll be back! Thanks!

Beautiful home.

This is a very well kept property. Beautiful hardwood floors through out. Beds were comfy and the AC kept the house very comfortable. Having a slip at the private dock was a huge help. The pool, while older, was great to relax in when the weather was questionable for the lake. The house slept 12 adults with no issues what so ever. Kitchen was equipped with all the basic necessities and the farmhouse table allowed everyone to eat together. Highly recommend walks to the tram and riding it down to the dock. Quick and easy.

Everything we needed!

The home was squeaky clean and very spacious and beautifully decorated! We used the bumper pool and have to buy one now! LOL The master bedroom had an awesome bed and TV and very spacious bathroom. The grill was large enough to cook for our family and the decks were nice for enjoying morning coffee. The swimming pool was fun and we rented a pontoon for the day that was docked right at the resort. It was so convenient. The owners were very kind and responded quickly. The kitchen had everything we needed for a family of 9! We will definitely stay again :)
