The home was a nice place for our stay while visiting our son for his graduation from UC Davis. We also wanted to visit lake tahoe while here. The home was clean and located in a quite location. Has a nice view of the hills nearby and we saw deer, rabbits, quail , and plenty of turkeys every day.
Perfect Spring Getaway with Amazing Views, Wildlife, and Stargazing
We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 2-bedroom, 1-bath home during early spring! While itâs not technically at the very end of the road, it certainly feels like itâoffering total privacy and tranquility. The location is incredibly peaceful, and the views from the house are absolutely stunning. The outdoor space, listed as a âbarnâ in the advertisement, was so much nicer than that! Itâs actually a lovely covered deck with a table, perfect for sitting outside and soaking in the incredible surroundings. The home is thoughtfully stocked with an excellent kitchen and all the supplies you could need to prepare meals. It truly felt like a home away from home, with everything in great condition and well-maintained.One of the most memorable experiences of our stay was waking up one morning to a wonderful sightâ8 to 10 wild turkeys grazing in the front yard, with 4 deer nearby! It was a magical moment and made us feel so connected to nature. The property also has lovely walking paths to explore, which were perfect for morning strolls. Plus, itâs just a short drive to some fantastic wineries, so you can easily enjoy local tastings.Being able to have our dogs with us was a fabulous bonus! They loved exploring the property as much as we did.At night, the stargazing was phenomenal. Being so far from city lights, we had clear, dark skies and saw a dazzling array of starsâtruly a highlight of the trip.We coul
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The mountain view was breathtaking. If you enjoy being off the beaten path, away from city lights and noise, this place is for you. You will be out in the wide open spaces of nature.
Property description was accurate. Communication with Host was great. Would definitely stay at this property again.
Stayed just one night with five friends on the way to Tahoe. Would like to come back for a longer stay. This is a Gem of a property, as described!
It was clean, nicely decorated, and has what one needs when away from home (dishes, papertowels, silverware, towels, shampoo/body wash & conditioner, washer & dryer). Host was very deliberate in creating a cozy atmosphere.
There is a Dollar General nearby. This was convenient, as we stopped by for snacks and breakfast items. It is fully atocked with most of what you might need on a trip.
