At midnight someone was RUNNING thru the hallway making a lot of noise - I heard doors shutting loudly and mumbled talking - it was actually scary. Then I heard some black men on the basketball court right outside my window playing basketball and yelling at each other. It seemed like such a nice neighborhood - guess you can't get far enough away from some neighborhoods to feel safe.

The staff members were all polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was clean and my room was as well. My only complaint is that I had to contend with ants in the kitchen area. Breakfast is included with your reservation & a nice variety is offered. Unfortunately, I only had breakfast one day during my stay due to my schedule and it was 15 mins prior to it ending. Some of the food items (ie pancakes, etc) had hardened a bit from sitting out so long.

It is peaceful and safe. We get dish soap free with the room so I just wish the same was true of the washer/dryer
