“The Farmhouse” is a 1900’s home with an old- fashioned front porch. Pull in take a deep breath—and enjoy the charm of this beautiful farmhouse—Your Country Home away from home! Whether you need overnight accommodations, a weekend stay or an extended stay, we can provide you with the accommodations that will make you feel at “Home” away from home. The Farmhouse is cozy enough for one or two and large enough for groups of six as long as guest don't mind sharing the one bathroom. We have friendly horses and barn cats on the property as well. The backyard is fenced in as well.

Need a place for family and friends to gather for a holiday feast or get-together? Coming to see the Irish play at Notre Dame? Visiting local tourists attractions in Buchanan, Niles, New Buffalo, Michigan? The Farmhouse Stay is located in South Bend Indiana just a half a mile from the state line of Michigan. It is the perfect place to call home while you're checking out all of the wonderful local attractions! We are close to many of the wineries in St Joseph Michigan and also the Four Winns Casino and many beautiful Michigan beaches including Weko Beach. Downtown Niles Michigan is a great place for antiquing as is Buchanan Michigan--both have quaint shops and will provide a fun-filled afternoon. Another local attraction that is a lot of fun for families is Fernwood Botanical Garden. The Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend along with a visit to the Notre Dame campus are also popular attractions. When you're all done having fun, relax on the deck or front porch.

The Farmhouse is the perfect place to relax or be active... and a great place to call home when visiting the area to cheer on the Fighting Irish! We are located in an excellent area that makes visiting two states very easy!

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse. It is located in the perfect spot, close to everything we needed but when you arrived back home it was serene and quiet. The farmhouse was an excellent last minute booking decision for me and a couple of my friends. It was absolutely gorgeous in the snow. Wendy was very communicative and even stopped by (socially distanced) to make sure everything was going alright. I'd highly recommend this listing!

Lovely Farmhouse Atmosphere

We took a step back in time when we walked into The Farmhouse. Our dogs loved being part of a little farm with the miniature horses and cats. We told our family in Michigan and Indiana that they need to stay at the Farmhouse. It's relaxing and the deck is amazing. It's secluded, yet close enough to South Bend to enjoy the town.

The farmhouse is a wonderful place to stay. It is equipped with everthing you need. Even bowls for the dog :) Wendy contacted me in less than a hour after booking, and continued to make sure our stay was carefree, and comfortable. So Beautiful and Relaxing

Such a beautiful place. The property and house was very relaxing and well maintained. Great communication with Wendy. We enjoyed being close to Weko park and walking our dog on the beach. We visited a couple wineries. And on our 35th wedding anniversary, we just enjoyed the deck and home. I loved the barn cats and the horses were pretty neat too. We hope to visit again.

So good to get away!

The farmhouse setting is on the edge of suburban South Bend but is right by cornfields and has plenty of outdoor space. The farm house is really nice. There's a great deck, huge yard and some really friendly barn cats as well as horses, both regular and adorable miniatures. Wendy was very pleasant and helpful. It was a real plus to have a crib and high chair on site.

It's a hidden Gem !!!

- Super impressed with Wendy's communication - Super impressed with the inside space...# of people that can be accommodate - We cooked our food, the kitchen was extremely well stocked (utensils etc) full sized fridge, range etc, we used the grill too - The surrounding neighborhood is amazing, we went for walks with lakes etc - The deck was cute, for bfast with views of the farms, umbrella and lots of seating - 2 Dining tables with ample of chairs for seating - We wished we stayed there longer...I'll definitely visit again.
