Welcome to Woods Edge! This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is pet friendly, offers central AC, an open floorplan in the main living space and is an easy walk to Red River Beach (only .3 miles). Spend evenings grilling on the deck while overlooking the private, partially-fenced back yard or take a short drive to the restaurants of downtown Harwich Port or Chatham - everything is possible with this centrally-located home!

Our home is at the end of a private road, next to protected woods of oak, pine, and sassafras. Sitting on the deck with your breakfast, overlooking the woods, is a real treat. At night you may hear owls, foxes and maybe even a coyote! The surrounding neighborhood is just as special - a three block walk puts you right on Red River Beach - a wonderful spot, cherished by locals and visitors alike! And our home itself is set up for a great vacation - plenty of interior space to settle into and additional outdoor amenities to enjoy. We hope you enjoy your time at Woods Edge and that you feel so at home that you return again next year!
Let Us Tell You About This Home:
Venture off of Route 28 in Harwich Port and make a left turn onto Lucaya Lane to find a world unto its own, existing within the last house on this dead end road. A true family (and dog!) friendly oasis, Woods Edge is aptly named for it's location abutting the woodlands existing between the home and the nearby Skinequit Pond.
After parking in the driveway that leads to the easily accessible side entry of this home, you will find yourself near the first of two bathrooms (Bathroom #1) that offers a full bathroom with shower as well as convenient laundry area as well. Across the hall is a sitting room that provides additional space for those who need separation from the open floorplan of the main living space - perhaps a remote work space, puzzle area or even just a comfortable, quiet space in which to read a book.
Continuing further into the home, you will find yourself in the spacious kitchen that is open to the dining area and living room beyond. The dining area offers seating for six at the table and conveniently bridges the food preparation/service space between the kitchen and the deck with gas grill and dining table for six that is located through the nearby sliding glass doors.
The living room has multiple comfortable seating options surrounding the fireplace (not for guest use) and all within view of the large flat screen TV that is mounted on the wall. Cuddle up on the couch for a family movie night or cheer on your favorite team with access to local cable channels. The formal entry to the home and stairway to the second floor of the home are also located in the living room.
Ascend the staircase to find the entrance to the Primary bedroom across the landing (Bedroom #1) offering a queen-sized bed, large closet space and flat screen TV as well. To the right is Bathroom #2 which is a full bathroom with tub/shower combination. Next to that is Bedroom #2 that provides a queen-sized bed and ample space to unpack in. Finally, the entry to Bedroom #3 is found on the other side of the landing and offers two twin-sized beds for guests. Bonus: Bed linens and bath, beach and kitchen towels are included with this home.
The surrounding yard space is tranquil and the outdoor shower provides additional respite by conveniently allowing you to rinse off after a long day at the beach (only .3 miles from the home) or shower under the stars at night. Listen to the birds sing, watch a sprightly bunny hop by in search of a grassy snack or just breathe in the ocean air and enjoy the quiet.
