The property is convenient! Cannot beat the location. But that is where to good news stops. All-in all, not terrible, but misleading. The photos are apparently of a suite that has been built to photograph. The unit we stayed in looked nothing like the photos. It was very dated and somewhat clean. Jus be prepared to be disappointed with the rooms if you stay here.
The resort was wonderful with free wine tasting every night, good breakfast, and a nightly activity. The location is perfect just a 3 min walk to the Village and gondola. The kitchen is dated and needs more utensils and the family room is a bit stark but it was fine for our short stay.
I would not recommend this property due to a misleading VRBO listing. Aside from the fact that it is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a kitchen, the unit we were given did not match the photos or overall presentation shown online. The listing photos create the impression of a much nicer, more updated, and better-maintained space than what you actually receive. When we arrived, it was immediately clear that the images are outdated or selectively photographed, which sets unrealistic expectations for guests.I went to the front desk to request to be moved to the rooms shown in the listing photos but was told those units were fully booked. I also overheard another family making the same request, suggesting we were not the only guests who felt misled by the photos.I contacted the host directly and was told in fine print:Each unit is individually decorated and images are a ârepresentationâ decor, view, and layout may vary. Based on what we experienced, that statement is inaccurate.I do want to acknowledge that the front desk staff was polite and professional and did what they could. However, the issue is not the staffâit is the inaccurate representation of the property on the website. If you are booking based on the photos, be aware that what you see online may not reflect what you are actually given. I would not have booked this property had the listing accurately represented the unit
View of pool okay, dated apartment yet clean & comfy. Floor sinks in front of bedroom doors. Minimal kitchen supplies. As caterer, grateful I travel with own equipment. Location excellent for all activities! Lots of shops, restaurants, and fantastic hiking nearby. Accomplished our objectives.
The location was great for what we needed it for. The place was decently clean. Beware, hosting a family dinner with more than 5 is difficult. The property has very limited cooking supplies, and no seasonings of any kind. We ended up buying silverware because the cutting knives were more dull than a butter knife and there was only enough silverware to accommodate 6 people or less.
