Oh how I hesitated to write this review. For the price, it’s “you get what you paid for”. The bathroom sink is in the main room, annoying. The carpet is old and musty, and, well you get the picture. The parking is a challenge, there are strange cement posts at the bottom of the support beams which separate each spot that look like they’ve been hit and scraped by many a guest over the years. On the upside, it’s in an ideal location. They allow dogs but we didn’t hear any barking until about 9am one morning out of the three nights we stayed here. The staff is very nice and the morning coffee was good.

On the positive side the property is within walking distance of a beach, many good restaurants, shopping, and casinos. They are cat and do friendly and parking is plentiful. On the less positive side, the property is a bit run down. Rooms are clean but also dilapidated in some areas. For example my room had an updated bathroom but a very worn out carpet.

Great location. Two blocks from Heavenly Village. Lovely room. Super comfy beds! Good breakfast. Stayed here on a weekday. Not many people around hotel or Tahoe. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very dirty. The carpet was dirty not clean. Garbage not picked up in dining rooms during breakfast. And on the top of all Cockroache in bathtub Breakfast not how on picture the cheep beagle muffin and pie twinkle style.

I liked that the beds were comfortable and that this was walking distance to many things. The issues were the toilet was running through the night and I reported it twice to the front desk, and nothing was fixed. Housekeeping did not empty out our trash for two days; while they may not have made the beds to conserve water, please at least empty or the trash bins. I had to ask the front desk for a trash bag in order to make room within the trash bins. The door sweep was broken to the room so you could hear every conversation in the hallway

It was conveniently located. The staff was a little to laid back, spending time on their phone. In the breakfast room the young man sat on his phone and the Hot water and both coffees were empty, the small trash was full and over following, and the prepackaged bagels and muffins needed to be restocked.

I called ahead about their late check-in policy. When we arrived, there was no parking, no one was at the desk and nowhere to be found when I called out. Laying down on the desk was assigned for another number to call which I did in someone was sent down. She was not the least bit friendly. The room was as it appeared in the photos, although the bed was a bit hard and we found the carpets to be very outdated and dirty. The first night was extremely noisy between 1am - 3 am. Twice I had to open the door and ask people to stop conversing in the hallways. The on and off humming of the refrigerator also kept me awake. The breakfast was OK, though no one in particular was maintaining the area. Both trashes were overflowing. This room was particularly dirty with dust and crumbs on tables, window coverings, and flooring. The second night was quiet. At check out the front desk clerk was not helpful and when I mentioned the lobby restroom needed toilet paper, I was basically told “yeah the housekeeping staff will get to it.” The only friendly staff person I noted during the day was someone who came to the front desk upon our departure, and that consisted of him saying good morning. The one plus to this stay was that our room with two queens had already been taken. So we are provided an additional room at no extra charge. There was a big event in town so accommodations were limited and expensive. Given the opportunity, I would not choose this hotel again.

Our room had a nonfunctioning shower, exposed outlets (that didn't work consistently), dirty carpets, exposed nails/screws on the transition strip in the room floor, door handle to enter was broken and barely worked. And you could hear people in EVERY room. Walls were so thin, we couldn't sleep. We paid almost $300 a night! We left early because it was that bad. At least we didn't have bugs in our room like I heard others complain and we could get into our room (many people locked out). I was really disappointed. I wouldn't stay again and I would not recommend. They really need to do some work to improve this place.

Typical 2 star hotel. Staff is slouched over desk on their phone. No smile or welcome during check in. Room was dirty with stained sheets and pillows. Carpet and walls were gross. Spiders in room. Lots of Construction during our stay so woken up by concrete drilling at 7am. No access to private beach like sister hotel (Becket). Overall great location to park and walk everywhere but you get what you pay for.

For over $300 one would expect to have a blow dryer and maybe a hand towel. Parking costs $50 and the staff just waved toward the back and said that's where you park. No instructions as to how to enter. 30 minutes and a frustrating drive later, we made our way in. It requires 3-point turns to get in and out. The room was dirty. There was mold in the shower.

Rip off in south lake!

Rundown, lobby smelled moldy, wish I would have known before I made reservations, 400+ dollars was absolutely ridiculous for this room, what rip off ! I want my credit card refunded, or will make sure I tell everyone I know
