Tahoe Keys Traditions - BBQ, Pet Friendly

This remodeled 5BR home features all the amenities in the Tahoe Keys, including the marina, restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, private beach, pier, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts and a kids play area. This pristine home features a fenced back yard with gas barbecue and a fireplace and wet bar in the upstairs living area. Bring the dogs along too!

Available for 30+ night reservations! This home has comfortable sleeping & dining for a family of 12 if children are included. It cannot host more than 10 adults. This applies 24/7.

Note: the hot tub on the property is undergoing repairs and is out of order

Perfect for multiple families. Each of the 5 bedrooms has a king or queen bed. The downstairs master bedroom has its own bathroom with dual sinks, shower/tub combination.

Two additional bedrooms downstairs share a hall bathroom also with shower/tub combination. One bedroom is configured as a living/bedroom combination, with couch and coffee table, king bed, queen sofa-sleeper, & a sliding door with access to the back yard.

There is a large dining area downstairs that seats 6, a wood-burning fireplace and SmartTV, and sunny functional kitchen with breakfast table that seats 4, and counter seating for 2. The kitchen is fully stocked with place settings for 12.

Upstairs is the main family room that includes comfy leather couches and large game table that seats 6-8. This room has a gas fireplace, large screen A/V system with SmartTV, cableTV, wet bar, and small balcony overlooking the back yard, and adjacent tennis courts.

Upstairs there is one bedroom with a king bed, and one with a queen bed. Both rooms share a large bathroom with dual sinks, and shower/tub combination.

The backyard is fully fenced. During the summer there is a table and chairs for 6. The gas BBQ is on the back deck, and comes with 2 full propane tanks. The home has an attached garage, with parking for one in the garage, and two cars in the driveway. There is a laundry inside the home, with full-size washer and dryer. There is free wifi throughout.

Pets: 1-2 dogs allowed w/ pre-approval & pet fee. No other animals allowed. Bring a crate if you plan to leave a dog unattended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in/on beds. Any barking or behavior that bothers neighbors is not allowed. You will be responsible for extra cleaning charges for hair on furniture, pet stains, dog droppings, & any damage caused by dog(s).

Read the fine prints!

I was expecting much more from our stay at this location after paying a hefty amount for a night. It had some pros and cons. The pros were, the house was spacious. It had good size bedrooms for our 2 families, consisting of 4 adults, 3 youth and a dog. The yard was good for our dog and the bathrooms had well stocked shampoos and body wash. It was neat and clean. The kitchen was decent and had the necessary stuff to make coffee or cook a meal. Also, the rental company was available on the phone and helped us with our queries. The cons were a little long. We booked this place, because we definitely wanted a hot tub, specially after a day of skiing. 2 days before our arrival, we were informed that the hot tubs were off limit because of some ordinance in Tahoe Keys against using water. The hot tub already had water, so I wasn't sure why it was not allowed. They offered us a monetary discount of $50/day due to the inconvenience and inconvenient it was! The description of the rental talks about being close to the beach and easy access to the tennis court and swimming pool. Well, those words shouldn't be the first paragraph to describe this vacation home. To access all these so called areas, a pass was required which was only available via phone call to the Tahoe Keys authority. Unfortunately, they did not work or attended phone calls on the weekend. Our stay was from Friday (Check in at 4pm) till Monday (check out at 10am). It was impossible to get any access. We looked at the beach from behind the iron gates. Also, the pass was $10/person. So on top of the rent, we were expected to pay more dollar for each member to access the facilities. That overall didn't sound appealing. I also found the blankets in the room very worn out and dirty. It was dreadful to use the old brown worn out blankets in the upstairs room. And the upstairs king mattress should be replaced. It gave me a back ache. The mattress was sagging and was not the best for a good night's sleep. They were very strict about the 10am check out and gave us a grace period of half hour. Usually, I find it easier to work with owners directly with such request. I guess when a rental management company owns a property, such things are pretty inflexible. I have stayed at many other Tahoe properties before and there are some decent ones around. I am not coming back to this one for sure!

House is listed accurately, great location in Tahoe keys. House is spaced out well for a big group, wish there was a living room space downstairs. Kitchen is well stocked, management was quick to respond and we had a great time! Thank you!

Perfect vacation home!

Property was immaculate with all listed amenities, plenty of space for kids to hang and parents to chill. Had a minor grill issue that was remedied perfectly and quickly (still had dinner on it same night!). The community amenities were great as well. We’ll come back next time we’re in Tahoe!

A Wonderful Stay in Tahoe

My family and I had a wonderful vacation this weekend. We had great down time hanging out playing games, listening to music, and talking in this wonderful house. We took wonderful walks in the sunshine, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and had lunch at the marina. We look forward to coming back to Tahoe in the summer!

We were little disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. Even though we brought a dog with us the house had fur from previous tenants and yet we were charged for the clean up. We also got the property an hour early and when I called to ask if we could enter the property we were told NO because the housecleaners were there (but yet no one was there. We were in front of the house waiting for an hour for the doors to open.) The location of the property is great very quiet and peaceful area. Great for families with kids. The size of the house is very nice. I would say we had NO problems with the owners just the property management. Close to downtown and close to the lake. Great place to relax and walk to the lake.

Large Family Vaca

This house was perfect for our family vacation (parents with 5 adult children with couples and grand children). It was a full house but we still had the space we needed. The location was great to South Lake Tahoe fun and adventure. I would recommend it for large groups that want to have a great time together.

Overall, the house was very suitable for our needs since we wanted the five bedrooms and three baths. Additionally, the location within the community and the accessibility of the beach, the pools, the walking paths, etc. was wonderful. Two issues regarding the design of the house: First, the master bedroom/bath is extremely small and not suitable from what one would expect of a master bedroom! (Accuracy of the listing) Second, there is no seating area downstairs which is extremely unusual and certainly uncomfortable! Try pulling up an easy chair and watching the TV downstairs!!!! So, in summary we were very happy with 80% of the layout of the house and this location but from a comfortability standpoint, it did not cut the mustard! As your records will show, we also had several issues with the cleanliness of the house upon arrival but the staff was excellent in their response to taking care of the issues.

Great trip and enjoyed the property!

Everything was as described. Had a great weekend skiing and snowboarding at Sierra at Tahoe. The house was very comfortable and the communication and service was top notch. Had issues with the hot tub FLO sensor which they fixed immediately. No complaints. Looking forward to coming back!!
