Watch the sun set behind the Sierras above the largest remaining wetland in the Tahoe Basin, The Truckee Marsh, from the comforts of your backyard hot tub, or recline on the sofas and keep an eye out for wildlife. This stunning air-conditioned 4BR remodel offers everything needed for complete relaxation. Bring the family dog along too -- this home is pet friendly.

Make use of the gas fireplace and relax in front of the HDTV with cable and DVD players. The kitchen features a refrigerator, ice maker, electric stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, and cooking basics. Step outside and BBQ on the back deck. The dining table seats 8 with views of the meadow. Two downstairs bedrooms each have queen beds. The bedroom with 4 twin beds upstairs is ideal for a sleepover, and the kids have their own bonus room with TV. The master suite hosts a queen bed, HDTV, full private bathroom with walk-in shower, and incredible views.

Great house with an amazing view.

This was a great house for our party of 10. The kitchen was pretty small but we didn’t do much cooking so it wasn’t a huge issue. The views from the back porch were amazing and the location was great.

This the second time we’ve stayed in this home and our first with our 4 year old daughter. After enjoying our four nights here, our daughter was very disappointed to be leaving and even said she never wanted to leave. The accommodations are great for a family, especially with furry companions. More than enough room to move around with an expansive open space out the back gate that leads to Trout Creek. We spent much of our time sipping IPA in the snow enjoying the newly fallen snow. We were met every morning with coyotes crossing the open space and they could even be heard every night howling back and forth. Across the street is an open lot where we created a perfectly constructed snow disc track for our daughter. This was the highlight of her trip. I’m sure we will book early for a return trip next year. RNR is very responsive and constantly communicates to make sure your trip has all that you need.

Included for our use were a BBQ, a hot tub, a washer and dryer, home entertainment systems, board games, and more. Full bathrooms were equipped with a hairdryer, bath mat, and toiletries. The living room featured a gas fireplace and breathtaking panoramic views of snowcapped mountains behind green meadows doused in water. Flocks of birds, ducks, and geese frolicked by the water and the evergreens. It was incredibly difficult to tear our eyes away from the view!

Stunning Deck Views

Great dog friendly property with a great location. Spacious living area, & overall super cute place. Management was responsive. Cleaners could have done a more thorough job in certain areas, but overall ok. Only wish the backyard fence was in a little better condition, was broken in several places so dog got out to field. Also, our dog stepped on a fish hook and large piece of thick glass just below deck in small gravel area. Would not have been easily spotted by housecleaners if they didn't walk grass area and a past guest was careless enough to not pick up after themselves; so no fault to property owner. Highly recommend to stay here, we made great memories!

Great for kids!

The fenced front and back yards created a safe area for my grandkids to play, all the while being surrounded by nature. Clean cozy house equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful week. Very quiet are with no traffic.

Great hot tub and views of the mountains. Parts of the home felt sparsely furnished especially the bedrooms -- the upstairs bedroom is huge but with minimal furniture and lacks a blind on the large upper windows which meant nobody wanted to sleep in it -- the beds and linens are also very basic. Management company were very responsive. Would recommend the property overall but I had higher expectations for furnishings given the price paid.

Beautiful home

The house was beautiful, with breath taking views from the living room and upstairs bedroom. Very comfortable home, the hot tub was great, and the kitchen well-stocked. It felt like we were out in the woods, but so close to stores and Starbucks! The only down-side were the grumpy and unfriendly next door neighbors. Otherwise, a perfect getaway to the snow.

Our Birthday Trip

The cabin was centrally located in an area that gave us a variety of ideas to do things. We drove up to the Nevada California stateline in Van Sickle Park. We took photos and captured amazing memories. Then we drove about 30 mins through the beautiful scenic roads and saw the fall colors so vividly before we arrived to Emerald Bay Look out point. This is a beautiful place. You must go see. We enjoyed some outdoor drinks at the Hangar afterwards and came back to the cabin for dinner. The cabin contains everything you need for full meals and the fridge is exceptionally huge. We also walked into Heavenly Village from the cabin which is about 3 miles. We loved it. We seen beautiful sites on the way. Shopping was fun. And then we rented the Lime Scooters to get back. This was a fun adventure. The cabin has stunning views from the living room of the sunset. The patio is amazing to sit out and just breath in fresh air or sit still and soak in All the beauty. Thank you for an amazing stay for my birthday trip!

Great escape to beautiful Lake Tahoe

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A few girlfriends and I travelled to Lake Tahoe for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was clean, the managing company communicated clearly and frequently, and the location was gorgeous overlooking a meadow with mountains in the background. Each night, the sunset was majestic, and it was well accompanied by a soak in the hot tub!

What a great weekend+ away!

We felt really lucky to stay at this house...it was a last minute find on VRBO: the location of the house was great, with beautiful views out the back; everything was in great shape; awesome location with activities, restaurants, and stores all super close by; logistics were super straightforward and communication fantastic. We hope to be back soon!!

Even got to see a bear in the meadow early Saturday morning in the distance. The media room is a bonus for those who like tv on vacation.
