**Spring Break Requirement: Minimum age is 28 years old**

This is a reminder that during Spring Break, security wristbands will be required at Saida Towers and Royale Beach & Tennis Club. Anyone staying at the Saida Towers and Royale Beach & Tennis Club between the ages of 10 – 32 years of age or considered to be participating in Spring Break activities will be required to purchase and wear a security wristband. This policy will be enforced from
March 4, 2023 – April 9, 2023.

The cost per wristband will be $25 plus tax (17%). Owner’s son(s) or daughter(s) will be the only guest allowed to obtain a free security wristband (Proper Identification Required). Everyone else will be required to purchase a security wristband. The security wristbands may be purchase at Island Services or at the security guard shack. Any lost or broken wristbands will result in guest having to purchase another wristband.

Please make sure that your guests are aware, as they will be asked to leave the property immediately if they do not have a valid security wristband. This policy will be strictly enforced by security.

We had an amazing stay here. Beautiful location, loved the beach and heated pool. Condo supplied some beach chairs and umbrellas. Bedrooms were spacious! Exactly as pictured. The ONLY downside is that the host is very unresponsive. I had to call vrbo to get a different number to contact bc i was getting no responses after a week of messaging for check in information. I would book again, even with the unresponsive host! But that would be a huge improvement to customer satisfation!

Worst stay

The location was great, but the front door, washer and dryer were broken. 2 body towels for 8 people, we couldn’t get anyone out to fix the front door so we could leave the property without being locked out of the condo. The AC unit was so loud that you couldn’t sleep. Beds were hard and very uncomfortable.

Great family vacation

Very nice condo, location was perfect, 3 pools to enjoy, tennis court and beautiful ocean view. Only disappointment was the stackable washer and dryer. A full size would make a huge improvement. The dryer in the stacks did not get warm or hot so clothes never got dry. Another item to improve would be a can opener, they had a manual one and it was all vent and rusted, would not open a can. Besides this it was a great vacation.

Review

At first glance, the condo is very beautiful. Unfortunately our stay turned sour at how awful the attention to detail was. The place was filthy. There were nasty stains on the walls and linens everywhere. The dishes felt unsanitary and we had to wash everything before using it. The blankets and comforters smelled of mildew and the host was horrible at communicating. They would not respond at all on the vrbo app and would only answer 1/3 of my texts. They were so unhelpful. The hot water did not work so we could only take really cold showers and when we communicated this with the host, they said they would need to get a plumber AFTER our stay. They did nothing to compensate for our troubles. Horrible experience though the location was nice. I would not stay here again.

First and foremost, the owner stopped responding to my messages. Very unprofessional. Issues with the property: mold in the shower, dryer didn't actually dry clothes, hot tub did not work, 1 pool not heated (in December) which made our pool VERY VERY crowded, very loud, and unsafe for my little ones and the grandparents. Additionally, someone else on the property gave the code to our room to another family, who just walked in. Also, the water was out for over 6 hours. When I asked the owner to call to discuss issues they did not. I asked for a small portion of what we paid to be refunded (since what we paid for is not what we got). Have not heard from her in weeks.

Cleanliness and Faulty Appliances

Unfortunately upon arrival we walked into a condo that was not thoroughly cleaned. There was sand in every part of the condo that you could actually hear the crackling as you moved about the condo. The condo did have a musky smell and is probably because of the wet/damp towel hung in restrooms provided. We had to drive to the neighboring city (Port Isabel) to buy towels at Walmart. In addition to questionable cleanliness, the dryer was not functional which explains the condo’s wet towels on arrival. In addition to the dry not functioning, the microwave did not work and the refrigerator would not cool. Moreover, after reporting the issues to the “on call” contact (Cris) several times was a joke! According to Cris she would put in a work order to have someone come out but to our surprise nobody ever showed nor did she follow up to to see if the reported issues were resolved. The craziest part is that they charge for cleaning services that consists of bed sheet changing, so upon checkout you do the actual cleaning that is listed as part of the exit/checkout procedure.

Wonderful

We stayed for 5 days and it was everything we could of imagined and more. There was a slight issue with the AC and they fixed it immediately and then continue to check on it throughout the week. The condo was wonderfully decorated! Will definitely be staying here again

Fun couples/birthday weekend getaway

Grew up staying at the Saida Towers every summer and always been great but loved how big the condo was! The patio was also big enough for all 8 of us to hangout comfortably. Has all the necessary things like kitchen items and towels etc. Bring extra trash bags if you are a bigger group. They do provide some! We just went through them quickly.

Everything was great. The other guest at the resort were very friendly. We even enjoyed playing Pickleball with a dozen people that were at the resort. Thanks for letting us tape off the two east tennis courts to play. We had both courts filled for four hours most of the days. We would definitely come again. As a note for the resort you can actually take one court and make four Pickleball courts on it. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport nation wide. Many places we stay at have 16 courts!

Great Stay, Close to the beach!

4.5 stars! Great stay overall for our family of 8. Condo was super close to the beach with 3 pools on the property. Which was super convenient for the kids. It does smell a little old, but just bring some air freshener sprays and it'll be fine.

Fantastic Family Condo!

Favorite condo we have stayed in on the island - ever! I have been going to the island since I was in middle school (in the 80s) and this is best condo I have ever stayed in! I actually loved it so much that I could have missed beach time to hang out & lounge in the condo! LOL! Will definitely not want to stay anywhere else after staying here!

Great condo a couple of hiccups

We really enjoyed the condo. It was a lot bigger than expected, especially the family area. We stayed with another couple with kids, so just to be aware the master does not have the king bed. It didn’t affect us because we had a child sleep in the other bed. I believe they did this for space purposes to put 2 queens in the master, which worked out with our party. The guest bedroom had a condom wrapper and a couple other things found behind the nightstand, which was reported to property manager. We did report to the property manager that the refrigerator was not working properly and we were told we had to wait 24 hours. We had milk for toddlers and some perishables and finally the repair man came and the refrigerator was in fact broken and never cooled to proper temperature. He said if he knew earlier in the day we could have had a new refrigerator, but it was a Friday night. And also the TV in the main room there was something wrong with the speaker. It was slightly high pitched, but not bad. The property manager offered us another room, but to lug 8 people to another room for 1 more day and night was too cumbersome. So we asked for a cooler with ice for our milk and small perishables and they did comp us pretty decently. I think the condo was equipped properly for families beach chairs, umbrella, and everything you need in a condo. Again it was a very beautiful condo. I think if the major appliances were properly looked at before we got there this wouldn’t have happened. We actually would stay there again.

Unclean! Water line busted so no water for a day!!!

The unit was not clean! A water line busted so no water for a day!!! This unit has a great view and overall could have been a comfortable stay had it not been for lousy housekeeping. There were food spots on the furniture and the floors were sticky and dirty. Although the balcony is open to the elements, it should have been clean when we arrived. There was a large section of the balcony floor under the table and chairs that were black and sticky from a spill that was not cleaned up. The chair cushions had not been cleaned or kept dry at all so you could not sit down without getting wet. They were black and smelled strongly of mildew. I sent photos, which I still have, of the dirt to the property manager. She wanted to send someone to clean after we had already checked in and when it was convenient for them. They offered a late checkout as a comp for our inconvenience. I believe the proper customer service would be to refund when a guest does not get what they paid for. The late checkout was a nice gesture but did not correct the problem. They still had my money without providing the service that was paid for. To add to this - On the morning of our (late) checkout day, starting at 7:30 am until we left at 1:30 pm, the building was without water due to a major water line break. We could not shower, do laundry or cook. There was a backhoe outside digging to fix this problem when we left. When the host asked what could be done to make us happy, I responded that one day and half the cleaning fee as a refund would seem fair to me. The property manager stated that could/would send a partial refund but did not confirm if or when it may arrive. That was weeks ago and I have not received a refund or heard back. She was more concerned with what kind of review I would leave. I would not recommend this listing or management company since they lack in service and good customer relations!

Beautiful condo

The condo was great. I loved the fact that the showers had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. It was so convenient. There were plenty of towels. The kitchen was fully stocked, but bring salt and pepper. Everything worked well. There’s an umbrella and two beach chairs you can use. We brought our own, but I though that was very nice of them. Overall, it’s one of the best condos that I’ve stayed in at Saida Towers.
