Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great view, onsite laundry, spacious, easy access to beach, affordable, clean pool and hot tub. Parking pass needs to be on windshield - we were towed- need of repairs, outdated, average cleaned, no beach towels, zero maintenance on the air handling unit evidently for years! Ice maker didn’t work, no hair dryers they were missing from the wall.

Overall pleased but definitely need work on communication

Overall, we really liked our stay. However, at first it was off to a rocky start. The parking lot had signs that said don't leave your vehicle unattended until you get your parking pass. Nothing in my email or on the app said WHERE we needed to go to get the parking pass. There was no one at the office and another traveler told me I had to go to a completely different location to pick up the parking pass. I ended up checking the room before we tried that and it was in the room. That was great but that should have been stated in the instructions. We were also told to stay on the beach you had to have bands. We never received any bands and there were not any in the room. Fortunately we were able to go to another beach. The room was spacious and clean. It was nice that there was a laundry on the floor. However, the first machine took my money and then didn't work. The second machine worked fine though. I think this could be a great place to stay but due to the lack of communication and lack of help when I texted asking questions, we will not be coming back.

The furniture should be replaced. A sagging couch, stained mattress and generally old second hand furniture was a letdown. There were no instructions for garbage disposal, checking out procedures (sheets, towels, dishes etc.) There was one dishwasher tablet, no condiments and no suggestions for restaurants, activities or other such recommendations. There is rust around areas of the bathtub and the second bathroom toilet seat appeared to be spot painted on areas that were either chipped or worn. There were two remotes for each of the television sets but no instructions provided for their use. The view from the balcony was as shown in the photos. As a former owner of a rental property on the Gulf, I would not make the property available until made it more presentable.

Great place, but needs better cleanliness

The floors were sandy from the moment we walked in. I know it’s a beach rental, but the sand on the floors was excessive. Bath towels need to be upgraded at this price point. And guests need to bring their own spices for cooking. Other than that, it was a great condo. We would come again if cleanliness improves.

A Great View with Minor Issues

There were both pros and cons to this location. CONS - There were a few items that left room for improvement: (1) the floor was dirty enough to leave our feet grey within minutes of arrival, (2) the blinds/cabinets and similarly less noticeable areas left a thin layer of dust on our fingers if swiped, (3) the patio door was very difficult to open and close due to a rusted lock jamb, (4) a DVD player was provided but did not appear listed on the site; and (5) there are a very limited number of parking covered parking spaces. (The main TV had some kind of issue with the remote and connecting to Cable, but as we are not real TV watchers, I did not call VRBO on this.) PROS - (1) We did receive knowledgeable assistance getting into the condo on our initial arrival, which was helpful; (2) the location is good and a convenient 5 min walk to a homemade gelato shop; (3) the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils, glasses, mugs, and dishes; (4) the view is VERY good; (5) beds were comfortable and sheets clean; (5) there were plenty of clean towels. Overall, our stay was pleasant and the view good for eye candy. If the floors were cleaner and the door functioned properly, this would have received 5 stars.

Nice place on the beach!

Nice place. Comfy king bed. Wish we could have had our family join us. 2 beds and fold out couch. Also roll away bed. So much room. We enjoyed our view of the beach and hearing the waves day and night. A few small issues that were taken care of very quickly!

Beautiful location, dated restroom

The property and location is just what we wanted but the master suite bathroom is in need of a remodel. The tub is rusty and the shower head needs to be replaced asap as very little water is able to come out. We did have a little issue getting into the condo as the code didn’t work for the lockbox but within 10 minutes we had the correct code.

Property is a bit dated, but the community is super sweet and guests are pretty respectful of noise ordinances (at least while on fall break). Perfect view, ease of location, pretty accurately described in listing.

Low Rent District

This place gets 2 stars because of the location and the amazing beds. The condo was serviceable but I expect a little more when I drop $3k for 5 days. The hot water heater tripped twice so we had to take cold showers until maintenance came and reset it. The second day they told us it was old and would probably have to be replaced and that we should space out our showers more. No surprise there. Everything in this condo looks old. It is in desperate need of some updating. Nothing is real bad, just looks run down. None of the doors in the condo shut very well which is not a surprise since every door knob is different. Just like the mismatched appliances in the kitchen. The hardware in the tubs is loose and there are cracks in the grout. This will probably eventually make the tiles fall off and force a remodel so that might be a good thing. The furniture works fine its just old and dark and not very beachy. The TVs are hilarious. I had a bigger tube TV in my 20's than these things but we weren't there for TV so it wasn't really a big deal. The balcony was big and the furniture was ok although the tables were stained. My biggest complaint other than the water heater is the lack of curtains in the living room or master bedroom. All there are is white faux wood blinds. So if you want to sleep past about 5:30 am, you better bring something to hang over the windows. We hung the spare sheets but it didn't make much of a difference. The grounds themselves were ok but looked old and not very well maintained like the condo. Obviously there are no limits to the number of people allowed in these condos. The condo under us on the first floor had 8 adults and at least 8 kids in a two bedroom condo. I can't even imagine what it looked like on the inside. They fit right in with the low rent theme. When they headed to the pool, there was no room for anyone else. The one time we got the pool to ourselves, we were relaxing in the hot tub when they showed up and sat on the chairs where our towels were. Shocking. Not 10 minutes later, one of the female "adults" appeared and started screaming at the guy sitting with our towels to "get inside and have an f-ing shot with your mom so that b---- can leave." Sounds like a lovely family. The group above us were apparently gymnasts that needed to move furniture for their practice sessions from 6am - midnight daily. I will definitely avoid this one in the future but it could be right for someone. Be aware.

The property and it’s amenities were very nice. Location of the property is exceptional. That being said... Upon arrival at 4:00pm, there was no key in the key box. It took us awhile to get ahold of someone to get a code to enter. Very frustrating!!! The mattresses and the couch are all horrible. Not good for someone with back issues.

Great Location on SPI

Property was clean and spacious. Perfect for a family of 4. Proximity to beach was fantastic. Check in was easy and straightforward. Management wasn't the easiest to reach but not overly difficult. Will stay here again on our next visit to SPI.

Great location

This is a very nice condo. It's in a great location. Wonderful view of the ocean. We did feel the fawcetts in both showers need to be fixed or replaced. The sheets on the master bed comes off in the top corners as soon as you lay down. Also would like to see suitcase stands in the bedroom. The condo is very clean. The entire facility is very nice.

Nice if the pool wasn't under construction.

The property itself was okay. However, while we were there the pool was drained and they were doing construction. We were not informed of this beforehand. Picture trying to relax on your balcony and the sound of drills and generators constantly. The unit was pretty clean, except for a mold like slime in the dishwasher and 1 bug on the counter. Check in and out process was easy and location was great. Hot tub was nice. I tried to contact Vacasa, but after a generic email back I got nothing. I was hoping to be able to add pictures of the construction, bug, and dishwasher so others going forward were more informed than I was.

Beachfront!!

Loved this condo! It was so peaceful and there was little crowds so it was perfect timing for a short vacation. We will absolutely be staying here again. The open floor plan and spacious rooms were amazing and of course the balcony views were priceless. Everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen was available. The beds were comfy and everything was so clean. Recommend highly!!
