The property is beautiful! Fresh fruit grows, they have a koi pond, pool open 24-7 and the staff is amazing!!!

I fell in Love with the Vineyard Hacienda @ check-In! We checked in after dark there was no problem I just called the number at the door and the lovely Josefina came to receive me. Her hospitality was #1A She set the tone! The room was awesome comfortable and clean. The grounds were beautiful! Peaceful just to get out and walk around the grounds! You must to visit the meditation garden, so peaceful! I regret not getting the name of the lovely hostess that gave me a glass of wine and set me up on the porch with a cozy blanket so comfy & warm!! We will be back and definitely telling our family & friends about this unique little spot!

Hidden Gem
Beautifully landscaped with all the amenities for small and large parties. Ray, the dog, was such a sweet ambassador. Joseph and Betty were super friendly and helpful.

Beautiful Mini-Resort for Relaxation and Fun
Pros:Everything! The scenery and rooms were beautiful.
Cons:Nothing, it was perfect!
Location:It's 30 minutes away from most activities in San Diego. Right down the road, there are several restaurants and a movie theater as well as a Target!
This is a mini resort about 30 minutes away from downtown San Diego. There are only 5 rooms, and it's down a residential road, so you have to carefully follow directions and drive slowly to get there. The adobe house is nestled among palm trees while beautifully situation next to a vineyard, several orchards, and a koi pond. There is no check in, rather when you reach the front door the owners will meet you or there is a number you can call them at. They check you in on a cell phone, and then they give you a tour of the property, and two keys- one to your bedroom door and one to the guest entry of the house. The rooms are dark and adorned with unique artwork, chandeliers and quirky furnishings. Our bathroom was tiled and had a keurig with several flavors. We had a mini-fridge with ice water already stocked in it as well as a tv and a writing desk. There was a swimming pool with big fluffy towels, and even a game room with a pool table, speakers, and a full sized fridge. We really enjoyed eating our breakfast on the patio looking out over the pool and lush hills of San Diego. The views were outstanding, and we liked it so much that we opted for a second night! The owners were very friendly but non-invasive of our time. I thought it would be weird staying at such a small place, but I loved it! There was also a friendly dog named Ray roaming the property, but he was a perfect gentleman at all times, and he has really short hair, so he didn't bother our allergies.

great getaway
Pros:everything
Cons:After reading most of the reviews I had an idea of what I was buying. Don't change, this place brought back some childhood memories.
Location:there is a shopping center near by with everything you need.
Found this as a last min deal. We did not know what to expect but found the staff very friendly and welcoming. The room was great and the grounds are peaceful. Just what we needed for a quick getaway. We would definitely stay here again.
