Location, location, location. Great stay and you're smack dab on St. George street, right in the thick of things. You can roll out of bed and you're but a stone's throw to food, attractions, sightseeing, etc.The deck is nice to sip some wine and people watch. Do know because of its location, it can be a tiny bit noisy but live music does stop at reasonable times and it never bothered us. During our stay, we did drive to Anastasia State Park. It's 8 to get in but you "basically" have access to the beaches without all of the crowds you'd see elsewhere (at least this was true for our time there). Also, there's the amazing La French Bakery on the island. Be sure to get there early, if that's your kind of thing. The architecture all around you should be savored.Good burgers at Prohibition Kitchen and Barley Republic. Also, did the campy Ghost Tour as well as the Trolly on and off. Did a wine tasting at Flagler College. In short, lots to do. Parking was also convenient and parking is at a premium around this area. All in all, a nice respite away from the craziness of Mardi Gras.
This is a great place for a couple to stay to enjoy a weekend away. Parking is behind the apartment with a quick 2 minute walk. We only had one small issue but our host was quick to resolve the issue. It is a little noisy at night (with a bar 3 doors down) but youâre right in the middle of things so the benefits outweigh that for me. Overall it was a great stay and I would book again.
Excellent location, easy parking, accommodations were perfect!! It was nice to sit on the balcony, people watch, and listen to live music from Mill Top Tavern, while enjoying beer and snacks. The room appeared to be newly remodeled. Very comfortable bed and the room was very clean. Everything we needed was provided.
