We stayed in Charlestown for a week, the property was easy to find, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The stay represented good value, parking was available locally. We ate and drank locally, again the prices were affordable. During the stay we visited The Eden Project (10mins away), the lost gardens of Heligan (about the same time away) Fowey, and several other villages in the area, as well as undertaking several costal walks. We met the owners on our departure day and Fiona was very warm and welcoming- all in all a really enjoyable stay.
An old terraced house which was very comfortable, some areas could do with updating but did not affect our stay. Nice little garden at the back to sit and enjoy the sun. The welcome pack of homemade scones with clotted cream, jam and milk was much appreciated.
We have never stayed in a cottage so well equipped! Heating and WiFi wonderful. Sea views delightful.
Finding a parking space during peak season may be challenging.
Overall a great cottage.
Just back from a weeks stay. We could not fault the cottage which is perfectly located right by the historic harbour, restaurants, bars, craft shops and beaches.
The cottage was very clean and extremely well equipped, with everything you could possibly need and more. The host also left a cream tea ready for our arrival ,which was unexpected and a lovely suprise.
