Clean room; quiet despite most rooms in our section taken; property generally satisfactory but needs some spiffing up, especially building itself (stucco). Staff helpful. Hot breakfast items cold and tasted like cardboard. No cut up fruit. Yogurt and coffee were good.

Red Lion Hotel is a bit aged and could use some updating. Aside from that, the staff was very nice and allowed us a late checkout time since we were participating in the St. George Marathon. Along with that they provided us grab and go breakfast's the day of the race since we had to board buses for the race as early as 3:30 a.m. That was an exceptionally nice touch and very much appreciated. Plus they had all the right foods in the grab 'n go for a long distance race.

The rooms were decent but outdated and smelled. The door to the second floor was not locked and broken. I reported to the front desk and they acted like they were not aware of it and told me they will address it. It wasn't fixed when I left and it looked like it has been that way for a while.
