The home was very accommodating for our group. We celebrated a 21st birthday for my daughter. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and clean. There was clean dishes in the dish washer when we arrived that needed putting away and a load of towels in the dryer that were also folded by me and put away. It looked like previous renters had left some bathroom supplies but we just left them there. The bathroom near the bunk room did not have a worker faucet. The water appeared to be off. The driveway to the house was like a 2 track but we did not have any issues since the host let us know in advance to ensure we had 4WD vehicles. This was appreciated information. The host also referred us to Bellini’s pizza for pick up. It was pretty good. It was a 20 minute drive from the rental. The property is gorgeous and we really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for 13 of us. The movie collection was quite impressive. We would love to come stay again. I would like to try and book over the summer so we can get outside and enjoy the property. The tree house was awesome. We didn’t have any kids but it would definitely be an awesome hang space for some adolescence. The host was very responsive prior to the stay. I did not receive check out instructions so I really hope we were able to have the home as clean as when we arrived. We did the dishes and the laundry before leaving.

Beautiful home

Loved the open floor plan and the beds were very comfortable.The main sliding doors were extremely hard to open and close. Also the hot tub was very dirty. There was something gritty on the seats and a very brown tub ring that we wiped off several times only to have it reappear within a few minutes. The house was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful!

Family Trip

Great peaceful location with tons to do. Lots of great fishing. Our littler kids loved the tree house and spent lots of time playing in it. Not a great spot for swimming due to mucky bottom, but we paddled our kayak out to deeper water for swimming. We enjoyed nights in the hot tub room playing games and listening to music! The house had everything we needed.The only complaints we had were there were only 4 camp chairs, 2 were broken for sitting on the deck which made it hard for us all to sit out and enjoy the views together. We ended up buying a few. There were no beach towels and we ran out of toilet paper so we had to make a trip to town for that.

Beautiful Secluded Home, Very Quiet, Huge Hot Tub, Great Views

Our stay here was fantastic. The house was clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. Plenty of natural light and a very open interior, this was exactly everything my group wanted. Beautiful view of the frozen lake during the winter. The jacuzzi room blew us away, it has a lot of seating and even a TV for entertainment. My one and only complaint was the tap water, which I'm sure is out of the owner's hands considering the location. I'm assuming it's well water, it smells pretty bad. I've been to plenty of homes up north and I haven't experienced anything this bad. Bring plenty of water with you for cooking/drinking if this is a concern.10/10 stay overall, the owner also had excellent communication and was very accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for everything!

Very private and quiet

Awesome stay at this house, deep in the woods, private on a lake hot tub to boot. All the amenities we needed were there everything was clean and neat many TVs and entertainment areas, great house to hang out at. We loved it.

Beautiful, quiet location

Nice relaxing location on a quiet lake. The house needs better upkeep, it wasnt very clean, the hot tub water didnt seem clean and was a green color also the fridge leaked water underneath. I had seen this on reviews left before and hoped they were addressed and was disappointed that they were not. We loved the 3 rooms with the 3 baths and the spaciousness of the house, just wish these other details could be addressed.

Overall stay was great!

The inside of the cabin is beautiful and spacious! Pretty much everything you need is available from the hosts. Except for chemicals to treat the hot tub. We really enjoyed the hot tub, but there was no chlorine stick in the hot tub and the water was green and was getting greener by the day. Extra chlorine sticks and some algicide made available would be a bonus, if you don't want to sit in green water. The first night was cold and drafty, we found out the next morning, when we opened the shades, that there was a total of 11 windows and patio doors that were left unlocked and partly open. Could have been cleaner and the refrigerator leaks water from underneath, so you have to put towels down on the floor. Dishwasher was not emptied from the last guests. But if you stay here, you will definitely have a very nice, calm, relaxing experience! Will rent again in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful yard more!

Writing Retreat

We stayed here for a writing retreat for National Novel Writing Month. Loved having the hot tub available as a reward and a way to soothe sore shoulders. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need including a gas stove. We loved how cheerful all the appliances were (they chimed when they completed cycles like happy little home spirits). All of the furniture is incredibly sturdy and the decor is thoughtful and inviting. The woodland setting was beautiful and inspiring. Tons of light, but equipped with blackout shades, which was nice. We lacked for nothing for our trip. We managed to write a lot of words. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this place to just about everyone. It was a great value for the price. The treehouse is mainly for kids, I'll add. We were super intrigued about it. It has outlets and a TV, too, which is pretty darned amazing. Adults can enter it fairly comfortably but is not meant for adults to hang out in for long periods of time. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Quiet paradise

We loved the location of the lodge, it was private and tranquil. Absolutely beautiful! We loved the views of the lake , the woods and the wildlife. It was the perfect setting to relax. The lodge was very comfortable and very well stocked. The hosts have thought of everything, all you need to bring is your clothes, food and toothbrush. Would definitely recommend this place to others and am looking forward to returning.

Beautiful country!

The property the house sits on is great! The water in the lake is crystal clear, the house is very secluded, it’s a very peaceful location. We even saw two black bears on the last night of our stay. The house was nice, the overall cleanliness could have been kept up a little better. Plenty of cob webs inside and outside the house, the dishes and utensils and needed to be cleaned and scrubbed before use. The towels and sheets we all clean though! Would still recommend staying at this property

Spacious Private Cabin on the Lake

This private cabin on the lake was such a great place to relax! The kids were surprised and excited about the treehouse in the back. All of us loved the small secluded beach on the lake. Inside the cabin was way more spacious than we expected, with nearly anything you'd need supplied like cookware, toiletries, and even cute beach towels. The indoor hot tub was fantastic. We loved the large yard and wrap around deck. We saw so much wildlife such as fish, deer, many different birds, chipmunks, a turtle, and a blue lizard. The location was also incredible. Quite a few fun day trips within a reasonable drive (Hartwick Pines, Higgins Lake). We would love to come back one day for another stay.
