Ice cream packaging still in freezer (no ice cream). The floor covering in living room area must be hard to clean. While it looked clean, slightly wet feet or socks were very dirty after walking on it. Room is spacious. Everything seemed to work. I chose it for location, because it did not require driving up steep hillls and because it had parking. It also is in a plaza that has grocery and deli, so very convenient. On the whole, if I were to return to St John’s to visit the national park, I would choose it again.

2 day stay in St John

We had a great stay at Marketplace Suites! The property was just as described. It was walking distance to restaurants and shops downtown. It felt safe and secure even with being close to the port. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our short stay. The only thing that would have made it better was a longer stay in St John! The pull out couch was as expected, not comfortable but ok for our short stay.

Great Experience

We had a great experience staying at the Marketplace Suites. The space was clean and as advertised. The beach towels were so useful. The beds were comfortable. Location is perfect. We had a slight hiccup with getting the key and the management company was extremely responsive and came out immediately to correct the problem. Can't wait to stay here again!

Good place- walking distance

The stay was what we needed for our family. Very convenient to a store and pharmacy. If you have backpacks, you can walk there, otherwise you should take a taxi. Check in was easy. The A/C didn’t work great and can’t open the windows.

Great!

Very positive experience. The location is a 12 minute walk from the center of town and the suites are conveniently located near a supermarket and drug store. The large parking lot for our rental was also a plus. Neighborhood felt safe; suite was in great shape.
