Our stay at the Modern Downtown Getaway was wonderful. We had trouble checking into the property (our fault) but the property owner was very responsive and helpful. The property was very clean and worked well for our family of four plus a small dog. We loved the neighborhood and felt very safe walking around at night. The older townhome was rehabbed beautifully. Great kitchen and three lovely bathrooms.

This house is the perfect place to stay and visit St. Louis, Washington University, Forest Park or a Cardinals game! Quiet street, 3great places to eat in walking distance and a market! Easy access to 64 and downtown. Near WashU medical campus, great hospitals around the corner. Beds very comfortable, lots of towels, tv’s in every room, bathrooms clean and spacious. This VRBO having 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, accommodated 3 couples and a 1 year old perfectly. It was clean, well stocked with necessities and in a perfect location in the city.We were able to walk to Missouri Botanical Garden, the farmer’s market at Tower Grove Park and several restaurants. I would recommend to anyone and absolutely would stay here again!!
