Location: Ideal! In-between St. Pete & Clearwater & can explore St. Petersburg, Tampa & Lakeland. Walkable via beach & street side to restaurants, convenience store & salon nearby! Beach: Rivals Clearwater! Plenty of room for all, soft sand & well taken care of! Beach chair & umbrella rentals run like clockwork & cost is reasonable comparatively. Outdoor balcony: A must! Well loved & well used, albeit a little loud during high traffic 9AM & 5PM & later at night. Ocean view: Great! Unit overlooks parking, similar to lower floor mid-building units. We felt the cost difference compared to lower units was not worthwhile. Pool: Heated with great chairs & umbrellas! Looks much bigger from photos. Gets extremely busy (even non-Spring Break). If vacationing with kids would be ideal! If not like us - bring noise cancelling headphones & patience. Could use ‘pool rules’ sign. Be there prompt by 9AM or no chairs! Management: extremely communicative & responsive!We appreciated an elevator being on top floor. However, being light sleepers were woken up multiple times during the night. Unit is close to elevator one unit away. In future would chose a unit closer west (toward beach).Recommendations: Unit could use minor refresh for price IE lighter paint, newer tables & pillow & towel updates. Kitchen supplies are cheap. Rickety beach chairs were replaced. Request for casserole or loaf pan denied by Host so purchased own. As a fellow Landlord these can go a long way to please!

Disappointed

The property was easy to find other than that it’s a bit down hill. Multiple elevators were broken and the pool area of the property was under construction. As parents traveling with a toddler to know the pool area was under construction would have been a good heads up, but there was no mention in the listing nor any separate notification email from the property owner. Within an hour of being in the rental we killed 2 roaches and killed multiple roaches throughout our stay, the balcony doors and entry door were never left open longer than to go in and out so wasn’t caused us leaving doors open. The floors were so dirty not sure if it was the tile, rug or carpet but we couldn’t walk around barefoot without the bottoms of our feet turning black. Went to use the provided beach chairs one time and checked to make sure they weren’t broken before getting to the beach and a previous guest left their nicotine trash in the pocket of the chair so we just put it back in the closet and didn’t bother with chairs. Overall the interior of the rental needs some TLC multiple patched places on the doors, barely any paint on the corners of the walls, the furniture could use shampooing. We will be returning to the area but will not return to this property.

This was a very nice, short trip and the condo did not disappoint. The only con was the bath soap it was the size of a quarter, so plan on either bringing body wash or a bar of soap. Other than that, it was fine.

The location of the condo was great. The neighborhood was hit pretty hard by storms and seemed pretty rundown. Many restaurants were closed. It’s a shame.

Fantastic location

I feel so bad for the devastation in the area, but Sunset Vistas is doing a great job at getting back on their feet. The family that owns the café business served delicious food and drinks and they are hopeful to get the beach bar back up and running ASAP. As far as the unit goes, it was clean and as described in the listing. The hot and cold water are backwards in the master, so that was tricky to figure out. Also, we had to figure out the thermostat because we had to turn the heat on as our week was cold. But bonus, the elevator closest to us got restored during our stay so that was really nice. The pools and hot tub were clean and people were friendly. I would come back..

Too soon after huricane

I thought the area would have been cleaned up and ready for high season, so booked the condo for early December. Two months after the hurricanes and the place was still a disaster area. The elevators were not working and so a hike up 6 flights with luggage is not ideal. The diner was not open yet and most of the dining options in the area were also not open.

I really enjoyed our stay at sunset vistas immensely. The view of the beach from the patio was great. If you had a question they would email you back the same day. The place was roomy and loved the open concept. I definitely would recommend trying this place. Thank you for a great time concept. I works definitely recommend

Beautiful beach, excellent location, ice cream right next-door

We had a really nice time in this condo. It was beautiful and clean. There’s an ice cream place right next to it if you’re into that the beach is gorgeous and it’s literally right on the beach. We didn’t use the pool much, but it had a pool and it looked like a pretty nice little bar right next to it. Only issue we had was do not use the dryer until you confirm. It’s not gonna damage your clothing. We had some black marks on our clothing several pieces that came from the dryer somewhere, but we cannot figure out where. And it was not the owners fault or the person managing the condo. We didn’t even mention it to them because we didn’t wanna make a big deal about it because the place was so nice.
