PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Due to ongoing building construction, the balcony may be temporarily closed and unusable during your stay. It will be boarded approximately 4–5 feet high, meaning you’ll still be able to see out through the upper portion of the door and enjoy the view, but access to the balcony itself may not be permitted. The building pool is now open and available for guest use; however, the gym and other association amenities may still be out of order. If parking at the building is full, overflow parking is available for guests at 440 through The Edge Hotel. Please note that construction may result in occasional noise and visual disruptions. All guests will be required to sign an acknowledgment confirming awareness of these conditions prior to arrival. 440 West Condos

The 440 West Condos Building is located at the south end of Clearwater Beach and was built in 1975. Clearwater Beach is an Island located about 45 minutes straight west of Tampa, Florida, Right on the Gulf of Mexico, with white sugary sand and miles of walkable beaches.

There are two towers, each with 18 floors. Each building has its own lobby, common area, billiards room, and gym, complete with plenty of exercise equipment and a sauna. The grounds are beautiful, with a large, heated pool and ample seating for everyone to enjoy. You’ll also find a shuffleboard court and a fantastic view of the Gulf of Mexico.

The 440 West Condos Association takes great care of all the common areas and amenities and has recently undergone a renovation of the entire pool deck. The lobby and interior common areas were also updated just a few years back. New carpeting is soon to come in all the corridors to each floor of the two buildings.

The condo

This recently renovated 1200 sf, two bedroom, two bath condo is the perfect place to call home for a month or two for up to four people. You'll enjoy the views overlooking the pool below in the courtyard and the Gulf of Mexico just beyond that. The condo has wood laminate flooring and tile, so you don't need to worry about messy carpeting. This has everything you need to enjoy your time at the beach.

The kitchen has been updated with quartz countertops and new cabinets. The appliances are all full-size, so you can whip up your favorite dish. There is also a peninsula with seating for three people, perfect for entertaining guests. The kitchen sink faces the open floorplan dining and living room area, so you won't miss out on any of the action going on in the rest of the condo while you are preparing a meal or preferred adult beverage.

The living room has plenty of comfortable seating in a new reclining leather sofa and an additional reclining lazy chair 'all new as of October 2022'. It has a large flat-screen TV and is the perfect place to relax after a perfect day in the sun.

There are sliding glass doors that lead out to your private balcony, where you can enjoy the beautiful Florida weather all year round while you enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of your favorite wine while the sun sets over the Gulf of Mexico. Don't forget; you have a full kitchen to prepare some hors d'oeuvres or dessert.

The master bedroom is huge, with a king-size bed, a large closet, and an ensuite bathroom with a large vanity and a walk-in shower. This bedroom also has its own flatscreen TV and a workstation for getting some work done or emailing or posting to your relatives about the wonderful time you are having in Clearwater Beach.

The second bedroom is also large and has two double size beds and its own flat-screen TV. There is no en-suite in this room, but it does have a large closet, and the guest bath is right across the hall. This full bath has its own vanity sink and a large marble tile shower.

This condo comes with one covered parking spot that is assigned to the condo located in the underbuilding parking garage. You will have access to all of the amenities that 440 West has to offer, including the heated pool, billiards room, shuffleboard court, and gym.

The Area

If you want to enjoy the beautiful Florida beaches, it is only a short walk down to the sugar-white sand and turquoise waters of Clearwater Beach, where you can find plenty of beach activities, restaurants, and shopping. Some of the beach activities include jet-skiing, parasailing, or swimming in calm gulf waters. You can also walk down the beach and rent a pair of beach chairs with an umbrella for a full day.

If you are looking for restaurants, there are plenty to choose from, whether you want fresh seafood or a burger and fries. There is also a Walgreens and CVS conveniently located on the island in case you need to pick up any essentials. You will also find plenty of surf shops for all your beach needs and souvenirs. Beach Style down the street even has an indoor surf pool.

Don't forget to check out the sunset activities every evening at Pier 60. There you will see lots of street performers and vendors that sell specialty items that you won't see anywhere else.

On suite bathroom has a vanity area separate from the bathroom and floor-to-ceiling tile in the standup shower.

Gulf Front Balcony Water View - Enjoy the breathtaking views on your own private balcony that overlooks the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Sand Key Island, and Clearwater Pass and Pool.

The view from the balcony is a great place to watch dolphins, manatees, and boats move about on the water.
