One bedroom condo

As being a new comer to your condo renting from VRBO we found it very difficult to access your building if it wasn’t for your cleaning staff, we would’ve been lost. Seeing as it it was a Sunday as we arrived. Nobody was on staff to answer our phone call. Prior to our stay. We did not receive any email. On how to receive our keys or access into our condo. Although once we found our place and understood how it works, it was lovely.

Location and beach were outstanding. The unit was dated and the decor was very eclectic. Looked like random purchases from a thrift store. Kitchen was not properly equipped. Sheets were like burlap. We had to go buy our own at Walmart. Overall, disappointing stay.

Disappointed with lack of accommodation for more than one person.

Hideabed was broken and had not been fixed or replaced. My sister came to spend a few days with me and had to share the only bed with me. The solution was a blowup bed which was totally unacceptable. Both of us are in our 70’s and sleeping on the floor was not an option! I have requested some type of adjustment on the amount I paid for a condo that advertised as sleeping four people.

RED TIDE / Horrible Full Time Stay Owner

This was our worst beach vacation ever, mainly driven by the Red Tide that was present when we arrived. We got 1 beach day during our stay and that is only because we drove 2 hours south to find good water. The smell was horrible and even standing on the beach caused us to cough and of course we had to dodge the hundreds of dead fish on the beach. This was made worse by an owner who lives in his unit full time calling visitors horrible names in front of kids. This male appeared to stay drunk the entire week and didn't let up on calling everyone awful names. I know some vacationers did call the police on a couple of occasions. All this combined made for a horrible experience.

Lovely Beach Getaway

Location is great. You cannot beat the view. I really enjoyed the smaller size of the building, nothing felt overwhelming (in regards to parking, elevator, pool, beach etc). Checking in/ checking out offsite is not very ideal but it was manageable. The owner needs to make some updates, it would prohibit me from staying at this particular unit again. We don’t spend a lot of time in our room, but for the cost of staying a week it would be nice to have a more modernized space. A fresh coat of paint and the mirrored walls coming down would go a long way.

Excellent location. Great access to the beach. The unit was very comfortable. The only improvement would be more places to hang things that need to dry - like wet swimsuits and towels. We liked it enough to be making plans for next year.
