Welcome to Bella 9

Bella Vita is a small 4 condo complex that sits Beach side in the heart of Indian Shores. This unit does not have a direct Gulf Front View. All units have recently been updated with brand new living room furniture which includes a queen sofa sleeper.

There is no pool at Bella Vita , but the Gulf of Mexico is so close you can taste the salt in the air. Bring the whole family and the dog (1 dog per unit) (20lb weight limit) to this 1 bedroom/1 bathroom cottage that ...can accommodate 4 guests comfortably.

Bella 9 is on the 2nd floor and is located beach side with only another cottage sitting between it and the Gulf of Mexico. The bedroom has a queen bed and sits adjacent to the full size bathroom that offers a tub/shower combo.

A separate shared laundry room is available for added convenience. The large kitchen overlooks the living area and has everything you might need to cook your favorite meal or your catch of the day.

The complex is close to many local restaurants and shopping in the area. Clearwater Beach is located a short distance to the North and John's Pass in Madeira Beach is a short distance to the South. Both places are a great place to spend the day sightseeing and have an abundance of specialty stores to shop until you drop in.

Arrival Instructions: Once your booking has been finalized, we will email you our contact information and specific instructions for pick up keys at our local office. Be sure to check your Spam folder for our emails.

Self-Catering: The unit is being offered as a self-catering accommodation. The unit is stocked with enough basics to get you going for the first night. The kitchen is equipped with cooking essentials. Fresh bed linens and bath towels are provided. The complex is equipped with a community washer/dryer. . At the end of your stay, wash and put away any dishes, empty the fridge and cupboards and take the trash out to the bins before you leave. A minimum charge of $300 will apply for missing linens and/or housekeeping services that exceed normal use. A minimum charge of $1,000 will apply for smoking in the property.

Transportation: The unit is located approximately 20 miles from Tampa International Airport, and 12 miles from St. Petersburg - Clearwater International Airport. Ground transportation is available through ridesharing services. Getting around Pinellas barrier-island beach towns is inexpensive, fun, easy, and convenient when you take advantage of the Pinellas Suncoast Beach Trolley (Psta) service. The Suncoast Beach Trolley runs from Clearwater Beach (north) to Pass-A-Grille (south) and stops at specially marked Trolley Stop locations along the entire Gulf Blvd route.

Pet Policy: Dogs only are permitted in this vacation rental and must be arranged in advance. Any unapproved pet is prohibited and could result in eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid. You are solely responsible for any damage or personal injury caused by your pet. Only 1 dog permitted and must not weigh over 20lbs. is acceptable with a $150 non-refundable pet fee. ***Pets are prohibited from being on public beaches*** .

Accidental Damage Protection: Insurance as listed in Homeaway/-- other charges will cover up to $3,000 of unintentional damage to the rental unit that occurs during your stay. Intentional damage of damage that exceeds the maximum will be charged to the credit card on file. In lieu of the insurance a $3,000 damage deposit will be required upon final payment.

Respite get-a-way

IRB weather was warm, sunny and pleasant. Clean beach stretched for a mile right outside our condo. My husband and I were happy, relaxed and very pleased with our condo, the neighborhood, the palms lining the street, privacy of the villa, and proximity to food and ice cream. We could not have asked for a better get-a-way from the North.

Exactly what we were looking for

one house away from beach. Clean and functional1 BR with a pull out couch. We came down for beach and Baseball (Spring training Phillies) and this was perfect for us. We cooked breakfast after a run on the beach, shower and head out for the day. Tons of places to eat dinner nearby. With the washer/dryer onsite you barely have to pack. Hope to stay again next year but maybe two bungalows, more family, and more days. Miss it already.

The water and ice were broken on the fridge and no efforts were made to fix it. Also the wood on the deck was very rough. Someone is going to get a bad splinter soon. However, other than those two things the place was great! The location was close to restaurants and the proximity to the beach is unbeatable for the cost.

Really enjoyed our stay. Just right for two people. Any more Ana’s would be crowded. Could use new couch but other than that great spot. Thank you. Hope to come back next year for longer.

Bella Vita in Indian Shores

Loved the location, nestled up in the beach. Indian Shores is a nice, down to earth location with some good restaurants and a nice beach. Vrbo, however, misrepresented the unit I was renting, using pictures of the adjacent unit so that you didn’t realize that the view of the beach from your unit is completely blocked by the building in front of it. The front view they use is of a different building. Shameful. We still had a nice time even though the unit we rented had multiple problem, as well. The local RE company fixed what they could fix in a timely fashion)

Location is fabulous! Access to the beach was the best, just a walk down the path!

We personally stayed at Bella Vista #9. I was a nice one bedroom (bedroom is on the street side, which can be loud) there were some cosmetic things that could be done to make the property shine, but it was livable, the AC worked, and we were very pleased to have a washer and dryer on the property. We checked in after hours and were called and also sent emails on how and where to check in. The staff was kind and courteous. We stayed for 10 days and loved the location. You can see the ocean from a side window, or if you walk over to unit #8 (not if you have neighbors however) we wished we would have known about the units in front of ours, or even #8 because you would see the ocean out those windows or off the decks. We gave a 3 for cleanliness because the wood is very weathered and under the stairs, next to the laundry room, it was dirty with sand and seaweed, etc, along with the laundry room, it was not swept or tidied up, just stuff thrown in the room. We did have some dirty vent covers, and some mold spots on the ceiling in the bathroom from the moisture, but that could be easily remedied with some more attention to that moisture, etc. The cleanliness was more cosmetic issues, not filth issues. We spent a lot of time at the ocean, and it was the best location for that! This unit is on the same side as the ocean, no crossing streets to get to it. The laundry room had supplies as in beach chairs and umbrellas as well as charcoal for their fire pits to cook on, which we took advantage of also! They have an outdoor shower faucet and water hose to wash off the sand after coming back in. Overall, we would stay there again, and would also bring family! We think next time we'd look into the front units, but this suited us just fine this trip, It was our first trip to FL and we loved it.

Attention to detail

The location of this property is great, and the over all stay we good; however the property itself was not clean when we arrived. We could tell they wiped everything down but the bathroom still had hairs in the shower and the floor needed to be swept again. The A/C Filters were very dirty, and the front door leaks when it rains.
