We had a great stay in this wonderful motel. The staff were very friendly and the place was spotlessly clean. The hotel sign must have been damaged by the hurricanes last year , it could do with repair. The rooms were clean, with a fridge and big tv with lots of tv channels. Free wifi was excellent also. What we didn’t enjoy was the air con unit in our room - it was so noisy we couldn’t use it at night and only could use it part of the time as the noise was so bad. Also the metal bed frame was creaky and didn’t seem very strong. We could also hear people talking in the room next to us, however that was noted in the welcome note we got. Overall it was a lovely place and excellent value for money, very close to the beach and about 15min walk to Johns Pass. We would definitely stay again.

Overall, this is a pretty good place to stay, with a really nice pool that gets heated by the sun all day. But it currently has a 9.2 rating on hotels.com and I just don’t think it warrants that rating, primarily because the walls are super thin. And not only are they super thin, but the rooms are separated by a door that locks, so the problem is not security, but you can totally hear the TV from the next room. On top of that, there were weird people stomping late into the night, not on the room right above mine, but on the room next to the room above mine, and I could hear that stomping and what sound like moving furniture late into the night. So even though I did like this hotel for the most part, at night, it was a somewhat stressful place to try and sleep.

The staff were all very friendly and pleasant. The cleanliness of the room was excellent. It was in good location to the beach and restaurants. The pool was heated and clean. It had a retro vibe to it as well. I also enjoyed that they texted you when your room was ready. Will definitely stay here again!

Staff was very flexible with a late arrival. Room was as described- two comfortable beds, kitchen with everything we needed, and clean. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Pool was awesome. And walking to many places. Would for sure stay again!

Parking was easy, and both the rooms and grounds were spotless. My room had a good-size fridge, microwave, Keurig with coffee and cream, and two complimentary water bottles. The shower is small but fits the historic charm. Location is perfect—just a short, easy walk to the beach—with a phenomenal pool and classic Treasure Island views. Communication was quick and friendly, and every staff interaction matched that can-do energy. As a self-confessed hotel snob and usual Hilton loyalist, I was blown away by how clean, stylish, and welcoming this place is. Can’t wait to return
