The accommodation is as follows: Ground floor: - A 65 mÂČ living room with sofa and TV (Internet box) and DVD player. - A large dining table for 8 adults. - A fully-equipped kitchen including: fridge with ice-cube dispenser and freezer compartment freezer, electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher (products supplied), 4-burner hob, Nespresso pod and filter coffee makers. - Complete crockery for 8 people. - Saucepans, dishes and kitchen accessories. - Separate WC. - Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Ironing facilities available. - The accommodation is equipped with cleaning equipment on the ground and ground floors.
1st floor: - Master bedroom: a king-size bed (180Ă200) opening onto a 13mÂČ terrace with a private bathroom (shower and bath) and WC. Hairdryer available. - Bedroom 2: king-size bed (180Ă200) with en-suite shower room and WC. - A small lounge where you can discuss your travel memories over a cup of coffee or tea with a Nespresso coffee machine (large pods) and kettle. From this lounge, you have access to the upper terrace with a breathtaking view of the Alpilles (table and chairs).
2nd floor: - Bedroom 3: two single beds that can be pushed together. - Bedroom 4: two single beds that can be pushed together. - Shower room shared by both bedrooms. - Separate WC for the two bedrooms. - Two relaxation areas with table and chairs, including an audio system with Bluetooth speaker.
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: barbecue, fondue set, raclette set, plancha, washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron. For families with two young children, there are two highchairs, a cot and a baby bath and potty.
Outside: - A jacuzzi for 5 people usable from April to October (subject to favourable weather conditions). - A private, heated swimming pool (4.25 x 2.35 and 1.50 m), available from 1 May to 30 September, with secure cover. - A 320 mÂČ enclosed garden. Garden chairs. - A 24 mÂČ terrace with furniture (including an 8-seater table) and parasol. - A pizza oven is available. Everything you need to turn it on and use it is provided on site.
Activities : - Numerous visits: Avignon, Arles, Nimes, Aix en Provence, Marseille, Les Baux-de-Provence, Glanum and Saint Remy... - Horse riding in the Alpilles. - Golf in Les Baux-de-Provence and Maussane-les-Alpilles. - Hiking in the Alpilles regional park, Romanin gliding club (glider plane) facing the Alpilles massif. - Avignon and Salon Eyguieres flying clubs. - Fishing at the lake.
Transport : If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the covered garage (1 space) and private car park at the house.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful to you: - Nearest train station: Avignon station 25km away (about 40 minutes by car) - Nearest airport: Marseille airport 66 km away (about 52 minutes by car)
Other remarks : - Free WiFi available (fibre optic). - Pets are not allowed in the accommodation. - The owners live next door. - Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request at an additional cost (hire and payment to be made with our local partner). - End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave it in a clean and tidy condition and clean all appliances after use. - A parent is responsible for all children swimming. Opening dates are non-contractual and subject to weather conditions.

We had booked for 10 nights but had to leave after 3 as my sister sustained injury after falling through the bridge that is the only access point to and from the property. If either my older parents or young children had fallen through the bridge, it could have been much worse. The condition of the bridge was unsafe and appears to have been poorly maintained. Although the owner attempted a repair on the same day of the accident, we had no confidence in its adequacy and left the property on an emergency basis. The booking agency Cocoonr did not assist us at all with this. Apart from this incident, there were additional problems:âą there was a water leak inside the property after rainfall one night which caused a puddle to form on the tiled hallway floor â a clear slipping hazard, especially for children or older adults.âą apart from the area around the pool, the garden was not well maintained and was strewn with debris and discarded tools â a stark contrast to the clean and well-kept outdoor space shown in the listing photos.âą upon arrival, the property was not cleaned to an acceptable standard for a holiday rental. We had to mop floors, unclog overflowing shower drains, etc. The property is in a lovely location but the owner and agency should seriously reconsider the safety and cleanliness protocols for this listing before continuing to rent it out. We had hoped for a relaxing family holiday here but unfortunately for us it was anything but.
Beautiful location with a stunning view of Les Alpilles - near a winery, a glider airport and plenty of trails, an easy drive to St Remy. Eclectic decor throughout, with newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen. We had a wonderful stay, and enjoyed many meals at home in the garden and spent afternoons relaxing near the pool (in addition to seeing the many cultural offerings in the area). Highly recommend! And Patrick the proprietor is wonderful.
