K6 outdoor dining, well equipped, family friendly
Unit K6 is very clean and well organized.
New renovations were just completed in 2021. New master bathroom with stand up shower. New upstairs hall shower/tub combo. New bunk beds.
K6 has a queen in the master bedroom, a queen in the guest bedroom, an area with twin bunk beds, and a sleeper sofa. Washer and dryer are in the condo and located upstairs along with the bedrooms. Downstairs has the half bath, kitchen dining, and living room with large TV. There are TVs in both queen rooms.
Ocean Walk Condominiums are located on the south end of St. Simons, the heart of this island! It is an easy walk to the village shops, restaurants, beach access, pier and lighthouse. There are two large pools that are maintained daily, the front pool is heated during cooler months. New tennis courts, stocked lake, walking path around lake, fitness center, business center, playground and dog run.
We are available during regular business hours and after hours in case of an emergency.
This little island is a very special well balanced place. Great restaurants are abound here, beautiful scenery and wonderful people.
You can get around by bike but recommend having a vehicle to go to get groceries or to jump between islands. Ocean Walk community rules should be followed by all guests. Trailers must be parked only in designated area by P building, all other areas leave it vulnerable to being towed. No bicycles can be stored in the breezeways. No glass or pets in pool areas. Pools close at 10:00 PM. No entry allowed. Quiet time is from 11:00 PM until sunrise. Please be considerate of all residents and guests. No loud music or other audio. No loud voices. No running or playing on stairs. Please be respectful of the owner’s expenses by setting the A/C thermostat to 74 degrees or higher. Keep windows and doors closed when the A/C is in use.

Everything was fine — as expected for a rental property. The condo was pretty clean but there were stains on the sheets and pillow shams. The floors were cleaned but were still pretty dirty as evidenced when walking around in socks. We did not use any kitchen utensils, pans, bowls, etc. The refrigerator/freezer was perfect. The blinds for the two sliding glass doors were missing some panels. The master bed wasn’t super comfortable. My husband and I seemed to both roll to the middle of the bed almost like there was no support in the middle. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would return.
I’ve stayed in 6-8 different apartments at Ocean Walk over past few years. Each have positives & negatives. This 2story was great for our family and location in complex very handy and OW is an easy walk or ride into town. We love SSI and will continue to stay at OW. The down side of this place was kitchen poorly maintained and cabinets stuffed full of too much stuff. It was awful to find anything as everything falls out at once. The ice cube trays were plastic & broken, refrigerator light burned out & dirty cups stored in cabinet. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and rolled & squeaked and carpet on steps very slippery and needs to be replaced. WiFi great & the rest of the apartment was clean, nice picnic area at front door. For sure the kitchen needs another look at and emptying out.
