YOUR ST. SIMONS VACATION HOME This St. Simons vacation rental is what happens when a classic island cottage gets a little extra care and a lot more personality. Hidden under the oaks just 0.6 miles (a 14-minute walk) from Pier Village, Seagull Cottage puts you steps from Georgia Sea Grill and right across the street from the Village Inn & Pubâa place where local upscale boomers still know how to have a little too much fun. Call Seaside Bikes & Carts if you want bikes delivered or feel like splurging on a golf cart. You only live once. Youâre just 2 miles from the Coast Guard Station on East Beach, St. Simons Island's best beach accessâwith bathrooms, showers, and lifeguards during peak season. And the beach house itself? Who could ask for anything more? Two comfortable bedrooms with just enough beach charm to remind you why you came, and absolutely zero this is just a rental vibe. A bonus nook with twin beds, a kitchen that doesnât judge your second dinner, and a backyard with two fire pits, an outdoor shower, and a tropical garden that dares you to cancel your plans and stay in your beach towel.

WHY EMMONS? Seagull Cottage is managed by Emmons Realty, the most-reviewed vacation rental company on St. Simons Island. Locally owned, family-run, and always a call away. We want your vacation to feel like fireworksâbut run like clockwork.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cottage. It was well stocked and very comfortable. We loved the sunroom, spending most of our time there. Emmons Realty was very responsive to our questions and concerns. It was located in a great neighborhood, close enough to walk to the Pier Village. We would have reserved for next year, but we wil have a dog by then and this place doesnât allow pets. We highly recommend this place.
The cottage was absolutely charming and well kept. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were so nice! No complaints! Wonderful experience- I'm looking for a time to come back and stay here again!
Loved Seagull Cottage! Clean and very comfortable. The house is close to town, beaches and located in a great spot for morning walks. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Loved our stay and would highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is pleasant and well appointed and in a nice location. The one glaring irritation was the incomprehensible heating system. It was very cold the first two nights we were there, and the system only let us "move" the temperature up to, say, 70 or 71, but then would say "Temperature between 70 and 76 for the next three hours." There was NO way to set it to a temperature and leave it, meaning we'd wake up at 2am shivering with the temperature having dropped to 58 degrees. Very annoying. Aside from getting that detail fixed, we'd gladly stay there again.
Booked this property at the last minute and could not have been happier with the house! This is such a cute little cottage located near the SSI airport (not too close!) on a tree-lined, quiet street close to shopping and great restaurants. The house was just as described. Very clean and plenty of room for three adult women with way too many shopping bags! The cottage is "officially" a two-bedroom, but there are two twin beds located in a cozy nook just off the living room. There are lever door (think closet doors) that shut to allow for privacy. At least one of the twin beds was super comfy - I had a great night's sleep in that cute little nook. It would be the perfect place for kids or teenagers to sleep. The full bath and 1/2 bath provided plenty of room for three women. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. We will definitely snag this place again when we head up for another shopping trip. Thank you!
This is our fifth stay on the island and the first time weâve stayed on the village side. The neighborhood is super cute and tim Ickes down mallery street. Walking to town is easy but we enjoyed biking and renting a golf cart - made getting to all the beaches much easier process too as we like to ditch the car once we arrive.
The house had a great layout. The small room tucked away was perfect for my girls and they loved how cozy it was. The house was fully stocked and clean. We loved the extra sunroom to hangout or for the girls to unwind while we made dinner.
The home also has a great yard and nice outdoor seating area.
We plan to stay again!
We had such a great time on our vacation to St. Simonâs Island!
This cottage is older but so clean and comfortable. The beds were cozy, the kitchen well stocked, and it was sparkling clean.
This home is pet friendly with a large, fenced yard. It is less than a mile from the village which is full of cute shops and great restaurants.
The beach is very close and Savannah is about one hour away.
We are so glad that we chose this cottage and canât wait to return!
This property is adorable, perfect for a small family (we had 2 adults and 2 teens) or a family with young children. It is located in a cute neighborhood on the corner of 2 quiet streets lined with beautiful live oaks. We rode bikes through the neighborhood several times (2 adult bikes are included with the rental). The house itself has a large back yard, surrounded with a privacy fence, and has a seating area and grill. Step up onto the new wood deck which has another table and chairs, perfect for morning coffee or an evening beverage. There is also an outdoor shower located here, which is great for rinsing the sand off from the beach. Upon entry is a 3 seasons room, where we spent mornings catching up on the news and having breakfast. The kitchen is a small galley style, perfect for what we needed. They have just about everything you could need, including salt & pepper grinders and some other basic spices. It was great not to have to purchase all these items at the grocery. The dining room, right in the center of the home, was definitely our favorite and most used room. It has a beachy, vintage feel, loved the decor! We spent many nights having dinner and playing games around the table. Speaking of games, the owners thought of everythingâŠwe broke in brand new Jenga, Uno, and Scattergories games - how fun! There are also several beach toys, including bocce ball. A couple of beach chairs and an umbrella were provided as well. The cute decor carried throughout the bedrooms and living room as well. The sleeping nook was perfect for our 16 year old son, the doors still providing privacy, our 17 year old daughter slept in the roomy guest bedroom. The full bathroom, although small, served our purposes just fine. Very close drive to the pier, restaurants, shops, and the beach. Overall a great experience, we definitely want to stay again!
