Sapphire Village had a few highlights. The kitchen setup was super convenient with cookware and coffee provided (no teaâbring your own if youâre a tea drinker). I loved the balconyâquiet, peaceful, and perfect for drying wet clothes. They also have a laundry facility downstairs, though we didnât use it. The real gem was Sudiâs Bar & Grillâgreat food, a pool, and an amazing staff who made us feel welcome.
Now for the downsides. Thereâs no direct walkway to the beach. Youâll need to walk a muddy, uneven pathâespecially bad when it rains. Donât wear anything valuable on your feet. If youâre planning to explore the island, rent a car. Taxis charged us $25 per person (family of 3), which can add up fast.
Be aware that everything nearby closes at 10PM, so plan your evening moves earlyâwe took a nap and missed dinner. The room couldâve been cleaner. Yellowed pillows and a bed that smelled like perfume were red flags. The worst part? Bedbugs. We were bit up badly and couldnât reach anyone to report it. No direct contact was available, so Iâm leaving this review in hopes itâs addressed. Weâre now heading home and throwing out most of what we brought.
The property has potential, and Sudiâs staff really made a difference, but there are major improvements needed before Iâd recommend staying here again.
