We stayed only one night, but the facility looked great for longer stays and events, too. Very clean/well-kept, staff was extra thoughtful/helpful. No breakfast and weird part of parking garage used for storage were our only negatives.

The Armon was clean, quiet, and a comfortable place for a short stay on our weekend trip to New York. It was located a little less than an hour from Harriman State Park (we did the Hudson Valley Mammoth March). You will have to purchase breakfast from their restaurant if you want to eat on site (we went to the Dunkin right down the street). You will also have to pay $10 a night to park in the Armon's parking garage, but you do get unlimited access to come and go as you please (I preferred this to street parking or an outdoor lot). The hot tub was not working during our stay, but everything else was fine for a short stay.

The Armon Stamford hotel had a very large/interesting lobby as well as a fitness center, indoor heated pool and jacuzzi (although the jacuzzi was out of order during our stay.) Our room was clean and comfortable. Self parking was $10 a night. We did hear other guests in the hallway at night and noticed areas of the hotel could use a refresh. Overall, this was an affordable, clean option for the area.

The best part was the beautiful lobby and the outside. The room looked more like a motel. I was highly disappointed and disgusted; I was coming out the shower and the house keeper walks in(my partner went to get breakfast) I asked why did she let herself in my room, she says the front desk told her to come in, I said why would they do that and check out is at 11. Again why did you come in here, she said you didn't have the do not disturb sign out, I said I don't need to, you had no right coming in here and I will speak to management. Management denied her claims gave me the head person number, I contacted Pablo and left a message and received no response. DON'T EVER STAY HERE, IF YOU WANT PRIVACY, CLEAN WORKOUT EQUIPMENT AND MORE THAN ONE BATH CLOTH. DISGUSTING, I WILL BE LETTING ALL OF MY SOCIAL MEDIA FRIENDS KNOW TO EXCLUDE THIS PLACE( I STAYED HERE 1 WEEK AGO AND STILL NO RESPONSE)
