Overall, unit was in a good location, dated, but as advertised. If not for communication issues with Retreatia and power issues would likely have been a four star rating given location. Check in packet was not prepared on arrival. We did arrive a day earlier than initially expected. However, this was prearranged via telephone with the Retreatia office. Did have to check in off property, but this was expected based on previous reviews. Overall unit did not seem to be thoroughly cleaned, used can was on the top of kitchen shelf. The was trash under beds, used clothing was within one of the dressers.We had an issue with a blown fuse resulting in no lights, or heat in one bathroom and one of the bedrooms. Fuse box was in a locked closet. Called the after hours line to request assistance. Received a text an hour later stating that they were looking for the key to the closet. We called back an hour later asking for an update and we’re told we could expect a call with an update from the overnight team. Never received a call. Was not resolved prior to us leaving at 9 am the following day. When we returned at 4 PM, the fuse was reset however, our unit door was also left unlocked. No other communication was received telling us to expect someone. Overall very poor communication in general.
