Located just 1.7 miles from the resort and 3.2 miles from downtown, this cozy 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom condo is on the second floor. You will be able to enjoy evenings in front of the gas fireplace and large smart TV, with some of the best views in town.
 
The kitchen is fully stocked with a refrigerator, microwave, oven & stove top; including dishware, silverware, pots/pans and utensils (including stuff for the kiddos to use) There is a primary bedroom with a King bed, ensuite bathroom and closet space. The 2nd bedroom has a twin over queen bunk bed with closet space as well. The second bedroom also features fun kids' toys and games. There is a second full bathroom adjacent to the second bedroom. The sofa in the living area can be turned into a cozy queen .

Paper Thin Walls

This review is not an indictment of the owners in any way but my spouse and I feel responsible to properly communicate, to future renters, the challenges we experienced. To put it plainly, the walls and floors in this condo complex are paper thin! Like nothing we’ve ever experienced in 22 years of renting condos. There were other previous reviews indicating how loud the neighbors were but we chose to ignore them
. This was a huge mistake! Kudos to the owners for putting sound machines in each room to mitigate the noise but in all fairness it’s just not enough. You just can’t believe how loud the noise is from the condo above. Rent at your own risk!

Great location and view!

Convenient location, and an amazing view from the porch! Nice size, 2 bathrooms, and very comfortable. The covered parking was nice to have, too. We would stay here again. Side notes that are good to know: there is a nice coffee maker but you need to bring your own filters and grinder, and there is a daily rental fee if you need a pack-n-play.

Too many issues

There were quite a few things that impacted our stay. The biggest were the paper thin walls. The neighbor upstairs played music for hours on end, and you could hear the thumping very loud through the walls. With little kids and the quiet hours not starting until 10, we had to keep them awake until after 10 for them to be able to fall asleep. This impacted us severely. Also, whenever they returned late at night, you could hear their laughing and talking through the walls. It wasn't overly excessive and calling security(which is posted on the fridge) is not something we could do every night of our stay. Next, the place was not clean. There were dirty dishes in the cupboards that we had to rewash. The bedding had multiple white stains(GROSS!!), and there was definitely a lot of dust. The kitchen was missing several items that a family of five would like, including more than three spoons and smaller bowls. Last, the showers in the bathrooms were both like showering in the dark. No lights in the showers and the curtains went up to the ceiling so no light could come through. While the location was good, I would not recommend staying here. The paper thin walls are a huge problem.

Unit itself ok.

Not well posted that it is not on the bus line. It only states in the section things to be aware of. Parking is a problem if you have an additional care which is not well stated until check in. Very noisy neighbors above. Trampling turtles every morning and evening. Kitchen well stocked and clean nice view but need a bit of maintenance for mirror in bathroom and electric heaters at baseboard.

Very convenient and great view

We enjoyed our stay in Steamboat. The condo was very close to the Meadows free parking lot for the resort. It only took a couple minutes to get to the lot by car and the shuttles were there with no wait. The view was awesome!! Unfortunately there were some things that would prevent a 5 star review. The condo was in a bit of disrepair. I want to list a few items but I am not trying to be an unreasonable complainer. Overall the experience was good but it did feel like the property was not kept up. The door didn’t latch unless you flipped the deadbolt, a couple of the outlets in the kitchen did not work, I checked the gfi and the breaker and it didn’t solve the issue. There was a piece of baseboard missing and the guard on the heater in the master bedroom was hanging off. The towel rack in the master bathroom had fallen off and was put under the sink. Their was a leak in the master bathroom vanity and it got the towels and extra toilet paper wet. There was not a cabinet for the a/v equipment so it was just laying on the floor under the tv. There was random items including old boots in the closets. The rugs looked old and worn out. The floor was not level as well. If you are looking for just a place to crash while you are in Steamboat then this place would be great. What was a bit of a bummer is that it wasn’t that far off from being a nice place. You could tell that a lot of the things I mentioned have happened since the pictures on the listing were taken. With just a bit of upkeep and repairs it would feel fresh and clean. My purpose in saying all this is in case people (like my wife) are expecting to stay in a place that felt clean and kept up and then Arriving to find that it is a bit under par. I hate leaving negative reviews and again I enjoyed the place for the most part.

Nice Location with a Nice View, But Not the Cleanest

Having covered parking for free was perhaps the best asset of this property. Really enjoyed the view from the balcony and the hot tub was nice as well (although not as great a view from the hot tub). Biggest complaint would be lack of cleanliness. It's highly apparent the cleaning crew does a quick once-over, without actually fully cleaning the condo. All furniture had crumbs and dust galore underneath them. The top of the fridge was caked in dust (which was super obvious, considering the fridge was only 5 ft tall).

Very nice place with an outstanding view. You can see the slopes, a golf course and mountains.

Family of 4 fit had plenty of room. 2 bedrooms and nice living space. Very clean. I recommend it.

Great Experience

It was very clean, great view, enjoyed the location. It was a bit small for 5 adults, but I should have paid more attention to the square footage before booking, I’m not very good at estimating that. I would say it is comfortable for 4 adults. There is no AC so it got a bit warm but the fans helped and I am assuming that is typical of the area being used mostly in the winter. We had a great time.

We loved staying here and the location is awesome! The balcony has a birds eye view of Steamboat and the golf course. Great location for trails and for exploring the town. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent views

Great stay and communication from property managers. However, the walls are very thin and we had extremely loud guests upstairs which made sleeping difficult. The property manager was very responsive and when the guests left we had a much quieter experience.
