In the winter, if you don't want to walk the two blocks to the Gondola, the shuttle service will whisk you from the front door to Gondola Square. We traveled with grandparents and young children and had a great experience. Very convenient getting to the mountain via shuttle (or short walk). Amenities were great as well as the kids loved the pool and hot tub. I would highly recommend.
