Built in 1928, this home's unique character delivers a light-filled great room, stunning beamed cathedral ceiling, fireplace and hardwood flooring. The screen porch off the living area offers maximum views and power storm doors. Primary suite overlooks Lake Michigan. Outside living includes a patio fireplace, multiple decks with views of Lake Michigan and a spacious yard. Close to everything in Stevensville and tucked in among the inland lakes of Grand Mere. Although there is no beach in front of the property due to a boulder seawall, multiple beach access points to Lake Michigan are only a few steps down the street.

Fabulous! Views of Lake Michigan - Beautiful!The deck overlooking the lake created multiple views!Views from inside the house equally is impressive. All amenities anyone could ask for. Super clean. Loved, loved, loved, the architecture. Great location.

Perfect location

This place was amazing! The property is well kept and clean. The views were even better than anticipated. The only issue we had was that the house was hot. Unfortunately, we chose the hottest weather to visit. (95 outside 101 with heat index) The AC could not keep up and it was 80 inside the house. The property managers were very responsive and came immediately to look at the unit and provided us with fans. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we will be back!

Beautiful views

This place is one of a kind. Gorgeous views of lake Michigan! We came up with a few friends and had a lovely time playing games, sundowners on the sun deck and BBQing. Would definitely come back!

Great Stay - great location

We all really enjoyed the property for a little winter R&R. Great location with Grand Mere State Park for hiking and of course great views of the lake. This would be a great location for a summer trip.

Breathtaking Lake Michigan Sunset view with several hillside terrace seating areas

Secluded neighborhood surrounded by waterfowl park, house atop bluff overlooking spectacular waterview. Breathtaking Lake Michigan Sunset view with several hillside terrace seating areas. Quite complete and upgraded interior with every appliance and entertainment you could want. Master bedroom was quite spacious yet 2 other bedrooms would be best used as cozy with hollywood half bathroom likely for children, but we used OK for very intimate adults. Multitude of indoor dining and lounging rooms with spectacular full wall windows facing the lake. Beware the 2 car garage may need a shoehorn to enter without side car damage if you have a generous sized SUV or large sedan, yet adequate outside parking for 2-3 large vehicles. Host was spectacularly accomodating.***Hopefully the key lock box can be replaced as neighbors across the road were needed to open a very sticky access hinge & that neighbor said that numerous prior VRBO visitors had suffered similar stress accessing the key*******

Fantastic house and stay

Check in/out couldn't have been easier. Beautiful setting and such a neat house...Even better than the pictures! So much character that you do not find in homes anymore. Historical old home, but was absolutely spotless and well taken care of. House had everything you could need. Wish we could have stayed longer. We loved it.

Breathtaking views and sunsets

My mom and I stayed at this stunning property and couldn't get enough of all the many windows and views from every room! They supplied everything you could need and more. The owner Matt was super responsive and he had property manager Joann and her husband available for any small things that might arise. We especially loved the grounds and all the seating areas as well. Thank you for sharing!!

Best place to stay right on Lake Michigan!

The house had everything we needed and the panoramic lake views from the living room were amazing! The four seasons room was our favorite place in the house and was a great place to eat, relax and even do a little remote work. We also spent time on the lake deck enjoying the sun and views. The house is on a very large lot and right next to a beach access point for swimming. We are already planning our return trip!
