Expedia sent the B&B the wrong booking, we ended up with a shared bathroom instead of an ensuite as showing on our reservation but the host showed us their message from Expedia and wasn't their fault. They did their very best to accommodate us, unfortunately there were no ensuite left either there or nearby.
That said, the room was nice and there were 2 spotless bathrooms on our floor, so the shared bathroom wasn't as bad as I had feared. Breakfast was nice. I couldn't fault the place or the host in any way, what ruined our experience was the initial mistake from Hotels/Expedia and spending 1 hour on the phone with them trying (unsuccessfully) to rectify it. After much discussing and waiting on hold, we got a voucher for our next stay, although now it worries me to use Hotels again so it remains to be seen if I'll ever use it.
Me and my friend were there to celebrate both our birthdays and we were disappointed by the whole ordeal, but we'd definitely stay again although we'd book the place directly to ensure we get the room we ask (and pay) for.
Thanks to the staff at the hotel for their help with the matter and congrats on the level of cleaning, I've rarely seen a bathroom (and room) that spotless!
