Drive up a serene 1/4-mile private gravel road to unwind on the porch swing or hammock, spotting deer and birds from your doorstep. Curl up by the wood-burning fireplace with games and books on cozy days, or gather around the outdoor fire pit for starry evenings. Just 2 miles from Quemahoning Reservoir, it's a perfect base for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, mountain biking, and nearby trails.

This updated rustic cabin blends authentic charm with modern comforts: full grid-powered electricity, well-equipped kitchen, bathtub/shower, hair dryer, and essentials—but no TV or WiFi to help you truly disconnect and recharge (cell service available). My third stay at the cabin was wonderful, as expected. It's a beautiful place surrounded by woods, peaceful, relaxing, and private. It rained all day on one day of my stay, but even that was delightful: I sat on the porch in a comfortable chair and read a book, while listening to the rain. Thanks, as always, to Mr. Fitzgerald for a fabulous retreat.
