Cottonwood Condo 1413 - Remodeled Near Historic Sun Valley Lodge and Ice Rink

This second-level entry (no elevator) recently remodeled 3-bedroom condominium is the perfect Sun Valley retreat located just across the street from the Sun Valley Lodge and skating rink. The kitchen was remodeled with granite countertops along with new appliances and finishes and heated floors. The living room includes a gas fireplace, a comfy sofa, 2 lounge chairs, and a 32' TV with streaming and cable. The dining area is adjacent to the living room and kitchen and seats 6 comfortably. There is a small nook in the living room with a built-in desk should you need a workspace while here. There is also a deck off of the living room. Wireless internet is offered in this condo as well. There is one bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed. A full bathroom with in-floor heat is adjacent to the bedroom. Upstairs you have two bedrooms; a master with a king bed, full bath, fireplace, and TV set, and a 2nd bedroom with two twin beds and a full bath attached, also with in-floor heat. A stacked washer/dryer is located in the hall for your convenience. There are ski and storage lockers downstairs.

The rental of this unit includes access to Sun Valley amenities! You don't need a car - you can walk, bike, or take the free shuttle almost anywhere you would want to go. The bike path runs north for 10 miles and south for 16 miles along the Big Wood River with wonderful scenery to enjoy as you walk or bike. The path is groomed for Nordic Skiing in the winter and provides access to ski lifts on Dollar Mountain. All you need to bring for your vacation with us is a change of clothes and your grocery list. We can even have rental skis delivered right to the condo! All linens and towels are provided for you as well as soap, shampoo, and lotion.

The location can't be beat with the Sun Valley Lodge just a short walk away. No other condos in Sun Valley are this close to the Lodge, skating rink, and music pavilion!

Complex Features: The Cottonwood Condominiums are located on Dollar Road just across from the Sun Valley Village. The Sun Valley Pavilion is about two blocks away. This is the best location for convenient access to indoor and outdoor ice-skating rinks, pools, hot tubs, shops, and meeting facilities. The location is known for its privacy and tranquility, featuring a blend of comfort, warmth, and scenery. Landscaping includes ponds and streams on the grounds. Bald Mountain ski lifts are 1.5 miles away and Dollar Mountain ski lifts are 0.5 miles away. Both ski lifts and downtown Ketchum are easily reachable by the Mountain Rides shuttle that stops at the entrance to the Cottonwoods. In the summer the bike path provides miles of scenic biking or walking enjoyment.

Sun Valley Resort Amenities: A maximum of 5 amenities passes will be issued per reservation. The Sun Valley Inn Pool is available . The workout room, sauna, hot tub, and Lodge pool are NOT included. During peak summer season only, the amenities pass also includes access to the Olympic and kids’ pools, priority tee times, hotel rate for golf, and a discount on tennis, gun club, and trail rides. Alpine Lodging cannot guarantee amenities will be open as resort policies can change at any time.

Please Note: No pets allowed. This unit is professionally managed, and all check-ins are at the Alpine Lodging Office, conveniently located on South Main Street in Ketchum. Self-check-in is not available at the property. We strive to make check-in as quick and easy as possible so you can start enjoying your vacation! Reservations are unit-specific. We do everything possible to keep your reservation in the same property you’ve reserved. If the property has a maintenance emergency, we will contact you with the option to move your reservation to a property of equal or greater value, at no additional cost.

Newer updates of a Cottonwood condo’s adjacent to Sun Valley Inn amenities. Check in and prior communication with Alpine Lodging is always positive. Plenty of room for 4-6 people. Exceptionally clean!

Horrible Condition

Do not believe the condition of this unit as described by the owner! There description of this home as remodeled is completely false advertising. From research, i believe this unit was built around 1970 and is mostly original. The furnishings are of lower quality and condition than one would find in a motor hotel next to a Freeway. DO NOT confuse this home with anything you would expect to find on campus at a nice resort like Sun Valley. This home has nothing to do with the Resort. The microwave worked but the cover came off in my hand when using, the front panel of the dishwasher was hanging off the machine when we checked in. The carpet was much worse condition than my college dorm. Upon check in we were given a printed instruction regarding cooling the home since it does not have AC, the instruction was to close every curtain and blind at dawn to keep out the sunlight all day, this would have been possible if multiple rooms were not missing blinds on the windows which left the home unbearably hot until midnight when it was cool enough outside to cool down inside. If you are traveling with your college roomates and looking for a super low quality place you can crash and party after a long day of skiing then this place is perfect. if you care at all about the condition of the home or the furnishings or cleanliness.... i would look elsewhere!

Comfortable condo with excellent location

Well, they say location is everything, and with this property you get location and more! Conveniently located across the street from Sun Valley Resort, and most importantly for my family right across from the Sun Valley Ice Center. An easy bike ride or walk to anything you could want to do on resort property, and an easy bike ride into Ketchum. The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking/meal needs. The family room was comfortable and a nice place to relax after full days. Three spacious bedrooms, the master with a nice sitting area and deck. The bathrooms are small in size, but more than adequate. The master bath shower was nicely renovated with excellent water pressure. For the value provided, this is absolutely a rental we would use again on future stays.

Excellent condo in a great location

The condo was clean, updated, and very comfortable. It was even rainy for a few days and we all loved just being in the condo. Right across the street from the resort and we loved being able to hang out at the Inn pool in the afternoons. Would definitely stay again.
