Sweet Carolina - Perfect Surfside Oceanfront Location!

Welcome to Sweet Carolina! Your vacation sunrises will never be more beautiful than from this balcony of this superb beach house.

Will your family or friends be coming from four directions? Would you prefer the privacy of a house, but don't need (or want to pay for) a huge beach house? This beautiful oceanfront home has just changed hands. It was a primary residence, so has not been offered on the rental market previously. There is parking space under the house, with a long driveway, providing room to park four cars. Golf carts, motorcycles and trailers are permitted here.

Inside, you and your family will enjoy comfortable living and dining space with an unobstructed beach and ocean view. There is a fully equipped kitchen with cookware, tableware, dishes, everything needed for meal preparation.

The master bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen and a twin bed and direct bathroom access. The third and fourth bedrooms have queen size beds. All of the bedrooms have TVs. One bedroom is on the first floor, the other three bedrooms are on the second floor.

Beds will be made when you arrive, kitchen and bath towels are provided.

Small dogs (30 lbs and under) may be considered with individual approval and $200 additional rent for the first dog and $100 each additional (if approved). Please contact/email for approval before reserving with pets. Pets are prohibited unless specifically approved in advance. Surfside Beach city ordinance prohibits dogs on the beach between May 1st and Labor Day between the hours of 9AM and 5PM.

Surfside Beach is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still, a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining, and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer, along with over 100 golf courses. The Surfside Beach pier, restaurants and shops are a few blocks north from Bella Alba. Water slides and amusement parks that kids love are right out on business 17. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. The Murrells Inlet "Restaurant Row" is the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", it's a few minutes south. Just a short drive north are all the attractions, dining, shopping and nightlife of Myrtle Beach; Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, amusement parks, and one of the world's largest Ferris wheels. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden, it's just a few minutes south.

It's easy to see that you and your family will make oceanfront memories here at Sweet Carolina!

We enjoyed our stay however we wish there were curtains/blinds for the kitchen window and sliding doors. I wish there was salt & pepper and spray Pam to use when I was cooking. Finally, you might want to put down the grippy tape for the steps. My daughter and I both tripped. Thank you.

What a view!

There are spectacular ocean views where you can watch sunrise from your bed. The kitchen is well equipped for meals. The deck is delightful for relaxing after a day at the beach. We used the very nice grill one night for a cookout. All six family members rated the property five stars. We look forward to returning next year.

Nice Beach House

The house location was great. Steps away from the beach. Has a large living room and good size bedrooms with a full bath for each bedroom. The yard was perfect for our dog. My only complaint would be the large bulky furniture in the dining room, which made it hard to sit at the table to eat or play games without moving things around. This was our second time staying at the house. Would love to rebook for next year but unfortunately the price has almost doubled for the 2025 season, so will have to look at other properties for next year.

Stayed with family. Home was very nice perfect for pets and hanging out on the beach. Only down side was not a big kitchen to cook in and 2 of the bedrooms don’t have closets just hanging racks.

This house was perfect for us and our dog. The fenced in yard and the direct access to the beach with the gate was just what our pup needed. House was well maintained. Appreciated a housekeeper coming halfway thru our stay (owner paid). Great location - far enough away from hustle bustle but close enough to drive anywhere. We are definitely considering returning next year.

Everything was great. Thanks for a fenced yard for the dogs. Could be cleaned better as far as dust and floors. Don’t think they clean under couch or beds. Could use a swiffer instead of a broom to clean the sand on the floors.

A sweet visit to Sweet Carolina

Our week long stay exceeded all our expectations! We were initially impressed with the cleanliness of the resort. You can see the ocean at all times. The short walk to the beach provides great flexibility to plan your day. The neighbors were quiet. Plenty of options for dining and grocery stores nearby. We loved it!

Second time staying at SC and it was picture perfect! We absolutely love this place, beautiful beach, wonderful little fenced yard for my fur babies and the house is just right !! Quiet beautiful neighborhood . They had every thing you needed. We will be back !

Perfection location! Perfect views-lots of windows! Direct access to beach-short walk to water for those with difficulty walking. Overall cleanliness only downfall-management company was responsive and helpful after initial complaint. Lots of decor needing to be moved to have room for our personal belongings. Kitchen on smaller side with little counter space. Beach crowded (prime time in July) had to stake our claim on the beach early am with chairs/umbrellas.

Family get together

This is the second time our family has stayed at Sweet Carolina. What we like the best is the location to everything and the ocean right outside our door. The house is small but very comfortable. We had 6 adults staying there and we all had our own bedrooms and baths. TV’s I’m every room. One thing I have to comment are the stairs going to the back yard . They are in need of repair and a hindrance in taking them. I fell up the stairs and my sister in-law fell down them. Some boards are loose and the first step down is uneven.

Will never rent from iTrip vacations again !!!

Septemner 17th-24th 2022 I would love to give this a better rating...however I can not. we notified iTrip concerning the wahsing machine not working and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. A lot of untruths about when and where / why it was not being addressed. We spent 2 of our vacation days waiting on repair men to come. ..... We had our infant grandson with us and a washing machine is a MUST. Eventually Friday afternoon at 6:00pm one was delivered as we were packing to leave Saturday morning. We all ended up having to go buy additional clothes. The management WILL NOT answer the phone only emails. The unit itself was nice but two people in the kitchen at one time would be a struggle.....it is VERY small for a house with 4 bedrooms ( 8 people ).

A much needed get away

The first day, I was greeted with pleasant conversation by our next door neighbor in the “A” house. Our house was wonderful and had everything we needed. This lady, and her awesome cats in the “A” house made our visit complete though. You never expect to rent a beach house and have such friendly neighbors. We could not have been happier. Our Maltese, Gucci loved the green area..(btw I left a flashlight and dog po bags for the next visitors) and this was one reason we rented this house. My only complaint

 if I would have to have one would be 
.. Parking. It would have been nice to have a little wider driveway.

This home is perfect for family,friends and pets!! This was my first time staying at sweet carolina and i will definitely be back! The view is breathtaking whether it's from the bedrooms,kitchen,dining room or porch. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs!! A couple steps and your toes are in the sand! The house was very clean and everything you can possibly need was at your fingertips!! Thank you so very much to the owner for opening up your home to make it our home for a week!! Great time at Sweet Carolina

Overall everything was great at the house. The location is great and the access to the beach could not be any better. We thoroughly enjoyed the back yard and the parking area beneath the house. The house is very well decorated and furnished. The only negative was that the freezer compartment was very dirty and we found a woman's bra behind the chair in the master bedroom. Quick question. Were the pictures in the master bedroom of an English Shepard? We have that breed of dog and they looked very familiar. Untill next time, thanks for a great week. Bob Guin

Beautiful beach house in a perfect location. Double check the rules on when your pet can be on the beach with the Horry County website. They often change the date without informing the rental companies. The property manager, Mandy, was a joy to work with.

What we hoped would be the perfect getaway fell short.

After a working as an RN on the front lines of a hospital during the pandemic we thought we would splurge on a nice ocean front house to rewind and recoup. We loved the house however. When we first got there we had trouble with the internet and cable TV in the living room. We called the office and left a message, they never returned our call. When we reserved this lovely house they failed to tell us that the 6 unit property next door had be totally gutted inside and out and was being renovated. They were hammering and sawing all day long, every day except for Sunday. When they would throw things in the metal dumpsters, it sounded like a bomb going off. The two properties are so close that when the workers put up scaffolding, half of the scaffold was on our property. They asked my permission to do so, I told them they would have to call the rental office. Each time when we would leave in our car, we had to collect nails and screws that were landing in our driveway so we wouldn't get a flat tire. To sum up, we loved the house and would love to stay there again next year but this week was everything but the relaxing week we had dreamed of. Very disappointed that they rented it without any fore warning.
