In the morning take a stroll along award-winning Llangennith Beach which is known for its surfing, and uncover the delights of Rhossili, 1½ miles away, which is the most western point of the Gower. You can enjoy coastal walks around the cliff tops, coves and bays, as well as hillside walks around the peninsula. Worms Head is within view from the front gardens and can be accessed if out exploring at low tide. Here you can visit the wreck of Helvetia which ran aground in the bay in 1887. After your busy morning sightseeing, don’t forget to enjoy a freshly cooked lunch in the 17th-century inn within the hamlet of Llangennith. Travelling further south you can uncover Port Eynon, Oxwich and, of course, The Mumbles where you can visit the lifeboat station, pier and enjoy the views from the promenade.
