Still an excellent hotel.

Clean hotel with good service. Building and decor need refreshment. No bulb in the lamp in my children's room (family room). Not a massive issue so I didn’t mention it to staff, who I'm sure would have sorted it. Bathroom excellent and loads of room. Breakfast buffet not available but hotel wasn't busy and hot breakfast was available on request. We miss the swimming pool. Brilliant location.

The hotel staff were very good, the room clean & beds good. We had a good night with undisturbed sleep & a hearty breakfast. The hotel building is in need of some TLC though, threadbare/frayed stair carpets, the chair in our room needed reupholstering, paint work, woodwork & door frames particularly at suitcase height were bashed & chipped. The overall impression is good though - clean & pleasant smelling, but on closer inspection it is tired & needs refreshing.

The gym was closed and the reception said they had sold all the kit. Only one lift was working as the other had been faulty for over 2 weeks. The room was tired as the decor is very old style. Breakfast was interesting as the coffee machine was faulty, food was ok but everything in tbe dinning room is very old looking and tired! The staff are all polite and do as much as they can.. I stayed here some years ago and it was lovely, it has gone down in standards and I would unfortunately not stay again and would actively look to stay elsewhere in Swansea.

The hotel is old and in need of modernisation. The hotel only has 2 lifts, but only 1 lift was working and this would only hold 2 people. With the hotel being 7 floors ment waiting a long time for a lift.

Stayed here many times but will be considering other options from now on. Second time in month or so that no hot water available for showering, windows do not close properly so noisy,especially in the morning. Only one small lift works, the other has been out of action for at least a year!!

Owners need to refurb this Hotel!

Although bed was very comfy and bathroom very clean, this Hotel needs a major refurb. Paintwork everywhere flaking off, carpet in our suite was shockingly thin. The windows in our room were covered in condensation so all double glazing needs replacing. The restaurant for breakfast was rediculously hot so it needs air con. The ceiling in parts looked like it was going to come down! The selection for breakfast was good though. All in all good service from all the staff but the owners need to invest in it heavily.

Hotel is very dated and quite tired, location is good near to everything . Breakfast was good , and was included in the price as the nightly rate I think was quite high for the standard of accommodation. we did book for the start of the summer hols so we expected to pay a premium

Stayed for one night, on 7th floor only one lift working that only took 2 people. Air con made no difference to room temperature. Shower was a dribble of water - unable to wash hair as no pressure. Room and bathroom were a good size clean but very tired looking.

The worst view I’ve ever had from a room window 316. Toilet was difficult to flush. Loud scraping noise during night sounded like a bed overhead being moved or it could have been noise from lift! Breakfast hot food was dried up no option to have any fresh cooked eggs but after complaining the coffee machine wasn’t working one of the waiters kindly got me one.
