Over the river and through the woods to the Whistle and Quill Lodge we go! Newly renovated and near the Savage River State Forest, Jennings Randolf Lake, and Backbone Mountain - this lovely home provides the perfect escape for outdoor lovers and adventure enthusiasts alike.

Surrounded by the sounds of the forest, the outside of this home is a place of pure peace. Find yourself dining alfresco on the balcony, barbecuing on the provided gas grill, and gathering around the firepit come nightfall.

Inside, the first level of the home boasts a full kitchen with marble countertops and stainless steel appliances. Adjacent to the kitchen, the open-concept living room comes complete with plenty of seating, a wood-burning fireplace, a large TV, and gorgeous views of the wooded mountains. Three of the home's bedrooms are on this floor, each adorned with wilderness mementos, ample natural lighting, and comfortable linens. Off the primary bedroom, you'll be pleased to discover a large jacuzzi tub with TV access - soak, stream, and relax!

Downstairs, the family room is ready to host hours of entertainment with its foosball table, air hockey table, bar, and wood stove. A designated office room, a separate laundry room, and an additional large bedroom are available on this level.

As the sun begins to set over the mountains, head outside and enjoy the mesmerizing stargazing opportunities.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
