Long line at check in or any time you needed to approach the front desk. Friendly staff. Construction noise was annoying but there is nothing that can be done about it right now.

The Four Seasons is in a great location in the Sydney CBD. Walking distance to the Botanical Gardens, Opera House and two great art museums.

First time in Sydney

Pros: Location, location, location!!
Cons: Not a thing needs to be improved.
Location: The Rocks is convienient to the Bridge, Opera House, cruise terminal and shopping. Hop On Hop Off bus is directly across the street.
Stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel before our cruise, it was in walking distance to what we wanted to see. Got in early so they gave us a key to the spa to use, stored our luggage until our room was ready. Very comfortable, the staff was excellent, room very nice. We did not eat there, as we were out roaming most of the time and found a couple of places to pop in to. Our last day we were able to walk out the door & cross the street to get on the Hop On Hop Off bus for a complete tour of the area. Great location,

Incredible service and room

Spoil yourself by staying here. The services and staff are above and beyond. We came in early and were given a key to the spa to shower and freshen up. The spa even had a steam room, cold towels and cold bottled water as well as lockers with slippers and robes. Our room was ready by the time we were done freshening up and the staff showed us where everything was and helped with check in. We sent an email beforehand we arrived saying it was our anniversary and they didn't miss a beat and brought chilled champagne to the room. And what a great room it was with deluxe full harbor view. We were on the 26th floor and saw the Opera House and harbor bridge and harbor from our room and bed! The TV in the room even had a welcome message. There is a separate shower and tub with all the usual toiletries and hair dryer on the closet. They also had robes, power converters, a mini bar as well as a safe. We booked a tour and dinner with the concierge desk who were all very friendly and helpful even charging our phones when we ran out of battery. The location is great since it's within walking distance of the train, shops and harbour. The pool on the third floor is small but a great get away with lounge chairs and beds. You can relax there and watch the stars. There's a little coffee shop, salon, bar and restaurant on site too.

High end and high yield

Pros: Service: kind, intelligent people, with evident pride in their work and workplace.
Cons: I had to think very hard to come up with anything. Music in the background for the restaurant at breakfast is on continuous loop. One theme only. It
Location: Endless opportunities. Proximity of ferries and trains opens up Sydney completely.
High end but very high yield. Despite on-going renovations and nearby street repairs, they valiantly and successfully made this the finest, happiest hotel stay that we have had. I come to Sydney every 1-2 years to teach a bit, and generally stay at a very good hotel in the Business District. So I was a bit hesitant about staying so near to Tourist Mecca, the upper Darling Harbor to Circular Quay area. It was wonderful. And as always the case in Sydney, public transport obviates the need for a car.

Luxury with wonderful location to start cruise or sightsee

We booked and arrived late. The front desk was very helpful and offered us an upgrade for very reasonable cost. The upgraded room was a fantastic suite with wonderful views of the city. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Only negative was lack of late night dining choices nearby
