The location, in The Rocks, cannot be surpassed. It is within easy reach of the ferries, city centre, the Opera House, Botanical Gardens, various galleries and museums and ease of access to public transport that easily connects with the broader public transport system within Sydney. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodation is not luxurious, however, it is modern, well appointed, clean and well maintained with heating and air conditioning. One must be mindful that this a youth hostel. It was wonderful to be amongst people of all ages. To add to the historical aspect of The Rocks, there is a substantial archeological dig has been incorporated into the design of the youth hostel.

Clean and budget friendly place to stay!

We had a great stay! The private room we had was simple but clean. Perfect for our family of 3 to stay in comfortably. The open shared kitchen and dining area were clean and nice to utilize. The roof top view of the harbour was amazing! The location was super convenient and easy to walk to access public transportation and popular sites to see. We felt very safe in the area as well. Staff were friendly and helpful! Definitely would book again if we get the chance to return to Sydney!

Can’t beat the location price. Rooftop bar was great, had early luggage storage and had a quick shower before checkin. Definitely can get loud warm in summer.

I enjoyed my stay here, nice location, clean room, friendly staff The only bad thing is that the rooms could do with some kind of cooling system, either a personal fan in each bunk of the shared rooms or air conditioning in the rooms which can be controlled in the room

We loved our 2-night stay. Everything was perfect. Our bed was comfortable and our room was clean. Our room was the perfect temperature. Lots to do within walking distance.
