Hotel staff was exceptional. Nantucket room was very spacious and with great view of the jaccuzzi. Enjoyed the complimentary welcome drinks, wine and cheese platter, cookies and milk before bed time. Will definitely book again 😃

I stayed in the Nantucket room. It was BEAUTIFUL! Very clean and the view was AMAZING. Complimentary wine and cheese and warm milk to end the night was perfect! I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was comfortable and just liked a home . Also restaurant was special , delicious foods ,wine etc. Also reception desk was very kind and helpful to customer . However room electrical line was old so water heater power was not connected , this should be repaired for better service .the other was perfect . thank you

Very homey

The design of the room is very homey. The beds were very comfortable, the toiletries were top quality, and the staff is very accomodating. Although, the room had a bit of a stench of "old smell". Maybe they should wash their curtains and sheets with better smelling detergent/softener? But nontheless, the welcoming wines, cheeses, and cookies in the room added a nice touch.

Comfortable, clean, pampered

Stay was comfortable and very much felt pampered with good service. Food needs to be improved though. It should be at par with the hotel experience.

perfrct view at an almost perfect hotel

The hotel has one of the most amazing views in the area. The view is unobstructed and beautiful all day. There's ample parking space and there's a starbucks next door. We stayed in the Nantucket, the room is huge and very clean with lots of running space for my 3yr old boy. A platter of local in season fruits welcomed us and a terrace facing the lake. The bed and beddings is probably at my top 3 list, so soft and comfy almost hugging us to sleep. The breakfast options are very limited but tasteful and worth the wait, they make it fresh so it takes some time to get to the table. This hotel only has a few rooms so expect a low head count and serene atmosphere, perfect for those of us wanting to unwind, relax and just enjoy the view. My only qualm is that the toilet in our bathroom did not have a bidet and the seat cover is not a perfect match to the size of the bowl thus making it uncomfortable to sit on. Also the amenities could use a little bit more improvement in terms of the quality like the toothbrush for example. Board games would have been a great one to throw in as well.

Fantastic place, cozy and very attentive staff. They even moved us to the ground level room because they noticed my wife has a cast. A lot of small surprises that adds up to a great experience. Location was overlooking the lake and Taal volcano. Highly recommended.

Family Time

The hotel was a cozy place with a great view of Taal Lake. We loved that we were treated so well by the hotel staff. The highlight for me and my daughter was the milk and cookies offered during turn down service. They included cute mini jars, which i found so cute that I wanted to take it home. The hotel manager indulged my request and even gave me a bonus takehome jar with chocolate mousse inside! it was a special treat and I would definitely go back to Discovery country suites for a quick, relaxing getaway from the city life.

Best trip ever...except for the rain

I have stayed many places in the world and this is the first time I can say that my experience was truly fantastic. The staff were friendly, more than helpful. Shower and bed were wonderful and very clean. The give extra treats like wine and cheese from 5-6 which is complimentary, milk and cookies at bedtime and the chef was remarkable. I really can say that my experience was amazing and I want to go back soon.

Homely & Country feel stay

A haven in Tagaytay, apt for a short getaway or relaxation, not far from Metro Manila. Thus, an overnight stay with my husband was appreciated since the place is truly serene with a nice view of the Taal Lake together the wonderful weather during our stay.

Best Boutique Hotel in Tagaytay

This was our second stay at Discovery and just like the first, we were very impressed. From service, cleanliness, spacious room and food, everything's perfect. We booked Oxford Suite, the highest room category and my kid loved the fireplace inside the room. One of the best boutique hotel I have stayed in.

Disappointing

This is billed as an up-market facility and the staff did try very hard however the public convenience (CR) off the main dinning area was flooding and flies enjoyed the meal items as much as we did. The traffic noise is too much for a venue that should be a secluded retreat. We were lucky to have the room downstairs however it proved a trek to get to the dining facilities. The meals despite the flies were very good our compliments to the chef and the staff did try very hard; I think for a Discovery property the management could have done much better!

For calm and rest

This facilty has7 suites only. so you may easly feel home. Staff are very polite and helpful, very well experianced and lovely. they can arrange any activity you want and can suggest nice places too. Suites are big and comfortable. DVD is in the room, they just need to have new movies and fix the broken CDs...I like it so much
