'Cedars Palace'... come experience Lake Tahoe! It's a great vacation getaway for any time of the year. This three bedroom, one and a half bath, single story home is newly remodeled and just 2 miles from Tahoe City and located in the highly desirable Tahoe Park neighborhood. During the summer you can walk to a Tahoe Park Private Beach on the Lake which includes over 3 acres of lakefront fun including picnic tables, BBQs, playground, two piers, roped offed swim area, volleyball and basketball courts.
This home is also walking distance to Firesign Cafe, Sunnyside Lodge and nearby market. Nearby hiking and biking trails offer miles of adventure.
In the winter you can enjoy some of the best skiing in the world. The house is just a 10 minute drive from Palisades/Alpine Ski Resort and even closer to Homewood Mountain Resort.
There is parking in the driveway for 4 cars.
Two of the three bedrooms have queen beds and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The half bath has a stacking washer/dryer.
The kitchen has granite counter tops and is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, disposal, gas range, and pots, pans, and dishes to make a nice meal. The dining table has seating for 6 and opens to the living room with woodstove insert on the river rock hearth, TV with cable and DVD player and wireless internet.
Front and back decks offer patio furniture and a gas BBQ - summer only.
This home does not allow any parties or events as this home is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is from 9pm-8am. Thanks for your cooperation!
There is an electric fence system at this house to protect it from bears when unoccupied. Detailed instructions will be given to you once booked.
Cleaning fee includes linens and towels. You may want to bring beach towels, as those are not provided.
Nightly rent plus tax, cleaning fee, reservation fee and vacation rental damage protection plan, required on all rentals.

Very nice and super clean house. Good quality linens and amenities--the only thing missing were a few kitchen items like cutting boards and better cereal bowls. The appliances/kitchen utensils/tools were spotless which is so appreciated. With global warming such an issue now, it would be nice to have fans in each room. The fan that is currently there is like a loud wind tunnel and there is just the one, so it was super warm in the house at night. A/C would be highly desirable for the summer months in the future. The only thing that was a bummer is that the beach is not really walkable if you are also schlepping chairs, etc. The beach is really comprised of small stip of huge stones/rocks so we did not find it worthwhile to sit there and go swimming for the day. With smaller kids the playground and picnic area would be fine. Thank you for sharing your lovely vacation home with us!
