Lake Forest Glen Townhome at End of Cul-de-Sac #40

Located in a beautifully landscaped condominium complex with many amenities, this 3-bedroom vacation rental home has an updated kitchen and a large dining area for up to 6. The 1.5 baths have been updated as well. The cozy mountain living area has plenty of seating, with comfortable couches, and a wood-burning fireplace. Enjoy the spacious patio where you can relax or BBQ with the provided grill. There is No cable TV. You can long into your cable account online to get The TV that has Roku. There is Wireless Internet. Located on Lake Tahoe's North Shore, Lake Forest Glen Condominiums are set in a lovely meadow between the highway and the lake. It is an easy walk to Skylandia Park Beach, Bristlecone Beach and many others on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This development features two pools, a sauna, a hot tub (for year-round use), tennis courts, pickleball and a children's play area. (Amenities availability unknown for 2021). Each unit has two reserved parking spots. The complex is close to Tahoe City, ski areas including Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley USA, Northstar and Homewood Mountain, shopping and fine dining. The Coast Guard boat launch is just around the corner for our summer guests. Plus there is convenient access to great biking and walking trails, both on and off-road. In the winter, drive up the street to the Tahoe Cross Country XC Center.

All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans.

Nice place, as advertised.

The property was well appointed, clean and well located. There was no TV remote control and no instructions on how to open the flu in the fireplace. It was rainy and we had no TV for the kids to watch. When we called management, they were ineffective communicators and unhelpful. They actually hung up on us! However, they refunded some of the charges, so that made it better. It was a good stay.

The property was great. The community was great. The amenities in the condo were skimpy. There was only 1 wash rag, 3 bath towels, 2 pool towels. There wasn’t any spices. (Places we have previously stayed at always had spices.). We did have a great weekend

Great Condo

Wonderful condo. With comfy beds and nice sheets; stocked with plates, glasses, cups, pots/pans and everything a kitchen would need. Condo was spotless when we arrived. Easy self check in. We’ve been going to Lake Forest Glen, different condos, since kids were little, over 30 years ago. Not sure when this condo was remodeled but excellent job. Great location, seems on quieter side but that could just be when we were there. Communication great. Definitely would book again. Next year!

We had a great stay here! The house was comfy, clean and spacious. We had everything we needed. Our only complaint was someone took the parking spot right in front of the house while we were out. We called just to let someone know and didn't receive a call back. Not a big deal but some sort of parking enforcement would be great. Otherwise, we would definitely stay here again!

Great spot for our family of 4 to spend the week. The house was clean, cozy and comfortable. The cul de sac had room for the kids to play outside. It is walking distance to the lake, a bakery and park. A short drive from all the North Lake amenities and adventures. We will definitely be back.

Great place!

Had some trouble with them charging my card, but that was because my bank thought it was fraud at first. That was my banks fault and the property management completely helped me. 10/10 would rent again. My friends and I loved it! Had everything we needed. So clean :) we would love to rent again. When we checked-in into this town house the house looked quite clean and cozy. But there was no warm water in the bathroom. The water was very cold, no way to take a shower in this extreme cold in late December. We have adjusted the water temperature on the heater. Then, it turned out that the refrigerator was leaking and the top shelves were completely filled with water. I was constantly wiping the shelves. The last straw was when I saw a mouse in the kitchen. It first ran one way under my feet, then the other. After that, my children and I could no longer stay in this house. So we took off 2 days before the check-out date. As I was told by property manager after I texted him, they having area wide mice issues. How come nobody informed us about that?

Great weekend getaway

We had a great time renting this condo for a long weekend! Not only did it have a fireplace and access to a hot tub (our two main requirements), it was also 5, maybe 10 minutes walk to the lake itself. It’s also close to Skylandia Park, etc, if you’re looking for a nice walk. The rooms were great, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the TV was kitted out with all the services you’d want. (PS the audio R&D engineer with me was particularly pleased with the quality of the home speakers in the dining and living rooms.) Plus it was really close to Tahoe City’s main strip and a fantastic breakfast spot (Sugar Pines). And while didn’t go skiing/snowboarding ourselves, we met a few snowboarders here who were happy with how convenient the neighborhood was if you were going on the mountain. tl;dr would book again.
