Simply St. Francis Lakeside #6

Comfortable bottom-floor vacation rental unit at St. Francis Lakeside condominiums. The open floor plan with kitchen, dining area and living room flowing together for a great entertaining space make this unit easy to enjoy. The kitchen is equipped for all of your cooking needs. Summer guest can use the simple patio area to enjoy the outdoors. Winter guests can cozy up to the wood-burning fireplace. The two guest bedrooms each have two Twin beds. They share a common bathroom in just down the hallway. The master bedroom has a Queen bed and its own large private bathroom. There is also wifi access in the unit for your communication needs. The Homeowner association indoor hot tub is open during the winter months and the development also has a swimming pool, beach, pier, tennis court, clubhouse, volleyball court and various picnic facilities. It is located on the lake adjacent to public boat launch and a public park with a children’s playground, field and baseball diamond. The public bike path system takes you to into Tahoe City, which is a short ride or walk. There are several hiking paths to enjoy close by. Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley USA are a convenient drive down the road.

The indoor spa is open in the winter months - Closes 4/1/2025. The outdoor spa will open seasonally with the pool(Memorial Day).

All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans.

The apartment size and the location were great! We were frustrated by the lack of supplies and lack of instructions about the tv (after several attempts to reach property management). We were unable to use the hot tub and swimming pool which were closed.

Great location

The location was terrific, very near a nice small public beach and convenient to many hiking and lake destinations. The unit was roomy, clean and comfortable. Our only issue was with the beds in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. Of those four single beds, only one had a topper. The other three were VERY hard.

We were in the area for a wedding and were there two nights Our condo was fairly well equipped, although we didn't cook there. The unit is a bit outdated and dark, but it met our needs.

I certainly enjoyed the scenary and how pleasantly clean the environment was. I loved the coziness and the overall quality of each individual room. The only issue that I found annoying was the massive amount of pests that were present. Overall, it was astonishingly good.

Excellent stay by Lake Tahoe

Highly recommend this spot - as others have pointed out, decor is outdated and beds are a little less comfortable than could be hoped, but the apartment is very large and well-equipped (kitchen had an abundance of utensils and spices, there were towels for pool, etc). The location is fantastic, with super easy access to the lake and a pleasant 30 min walk into Tahoe City. Also close to the Tahoe bus system which is free and helps avoid the need to park. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and at the large dining table for games. The amenities in the complex were also excellent.

Out of the smoke

We changed plans last minute to get further away from smoke due to fires near Yosemite and ended up in Tahoe. Property managers were very responsive. The condo is spacious, clean and the complex is on the lake. It hasn't been updated since the 70's but it was in a good location, comfortable and affordable.

Our family had such a fun and relaxing trip here! We loved the condo and it was a perfect fit for us and our four kids! Loved how close it was to the beach and although it’s not lake view it’s a very short walk and the smell in Lake Tahoe of the trees and crisp air is just perfect. Will come again!

Great Experience!

We really enjoyed the property. First, you can not ask for a better location; close to Tahoe City and access to the lake. The unit itself is in great condition. It is very clean and in good working order. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils, dishware, spices, etc. The complex is quite and peaceful (and we stayed over July 4th holiday). It's also very family friendly. We hope to rent it again. Thank you!
